I have been here several times over the last few years. This store is okay. Not a big selection of guns and they were pretty pricey. Staff was okay and were professional. Not a big selection of gear, but decent. Pros: Nice area, staff is okay Cons: Not a big selection on guns. more

Good Gun Shop 3/10/2009

Shooter's Den handled a firearms transfer for me recently. They were professional and pleasant to do business with. more

Positive first time experience 12/4/2008

I stopped in the other afternoon after work. I am a newbie - just beginning my research into CCW weapons. I found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They answered all my questions to my satisfaction and gave me some new things to think about and consider that I had not heard or read before. I would recommend them for all levels of experience. Pros: Friendly, knowledgeable staff Cons: Sold out of some of the guns I would like to have seen. more

Could care less about customer service 11/12/2008

I called there looking for a particular model and spoke with Mark. He expalined he could order and that I would need to come inand place a deposit. I went in that night and he was behind the counter with three amigos hanging out at the counter with him. They appeared to be logging in some guns. The whole time I stood there waiting for service they just keep talking. I learned from listening this was Mark behind the counter, he continued to talk and answer calls on both his cell and phone store. At no time did he ever acknowledgeme, ask me to be patient or call the guy from the archery counter over to help. I remained patient for 15 minutes and finally announced I would go to Shoot Straight and buy from them. As once again he was on his cell phone and still talking with the good ol boys whoo appeared to his grooupies or something. These guys can care less if your serviced well. How the heck they stay in buisness is beyond me. They Stink more

POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES. THEY WILL DEFINETLY BE GREAT WHEN TAKING YOUR MONEY BUT WHEN A PROBLEM EXIST. SCREW YOU. THEY DON'T EVEN TRY TO WORK IT OUT WITH YOU OR GIVE YOU A STORE CREDIT . YOU ARE JUST STUCK. more

Very friendly and helpful service 11/19/2007

Thanks to the rising violent-crimerate here in Orlando and the new threat of the Winter Park ""Ray-pist"" (I have to misspell the word b/c it gets flagged), my mom was looking to purchase a handgun recently. It would be her first firearm she's ever owned. Her friend was pushing her towards a Glock, but my Mom was unsure. We went to The Shooter's Den this past weekend and spoke to Mark, who was very friendly, informative, and patient. He showed my mom a variety of pistols, all describing his pros and cons for each model. My mom didn't really like the ""complexity"" of the semi-autos (I saw that coming) and the fact that she may cut herself if her hand placement was wrong on the gun when fired, so Mark showed her the S&W Airweight 642 revolver. It was a really neat little gun and they also beat S&W's MSRP price. When my mom is ready to purchase and she gets her CW permit, we'll head back to The Shooter's Den and by that revolver. If you go, ask to speak with Mark, he'll help you out. Also, unlike some of the larger gun stores in the O-town area, ""The Shooter's Den"" is American owned! Pros: Great service. Nice selection. Good prices. American-Owned Cons: No gun range at location. Nearest range a few miles down the road. more
