Note:I will not use the dentists' names in this complaint. \r Although I asked the dentist to make my new dentures exactly like my old ones which fit perfectly and permitted me to bite, eat, and speak properly, he made the new dentures (Upper and Lower) incorrectly. My mouth felt too crowded and it was painful to bite and eat. As I walked or tried to eat, I could hear the dentures clacking together. The problem: The upper denture was too buck and the lower denture too large, and very little space between them. I returned three times for adjustments, but nothing worked, and there was always a new problem. For example, when biting into food, upper denture loosened; lower denture-- although instilled on left and right implants--did not snap into place properly, and rocked. I never got to eat one decent, complete meal with these new dentures. I am an 85-year old senior citizen who lives in Queens and am tired of going back and forth on the subway for adjustments. Thus, I shall not return to this Dental Center again. Moreover, it is not a pleasant feeling to lose over $3000 on a bad investment. more

I'm a physical activity junky. Always active , jumping & running around. I was playing basketball, i was tripped and fell flat on my face breaking my front tooth. I work in sales and first impression is essential to me. I could not be seeing in my appointments with my front tooth missing. I found Herald Square Cosmetic Dental online & made an appointment for my free consultation. Dr. Yam was my dentist, he took my x-rays, examined my teeth and gave me couple of options to choose from. He considered my job and the importance of the natural look of my teeth. I chose porcelain veneers with Luma Cool teeth whitening. After the entire procedure my smile never looked better. it gave me more confidence in myself which resulted in more sales.\r \r Thanks Dr. Yam more

Don't know why folks recommend this place. I found it cold, bureaucratic and rushed - a one-size fits all kind of place where individual needs and preferences are not even considered. I also found the work to be inferior and deceptively cheap inasmuch as the materials used were flimsy and the finished product incomplete. My crowns didn't last, didn't look good,\r didn't fit well and didn't match my teeth. Piss poor, if you ask me. more

Wow 12/14/2012

Today I walked in with so much anxiety for my procedure of an Extraction and Implants but Dr. Alfred Shirzadnia made my experience unbelievable comfortable! I am in shock at how easy and quick everything went. I am so pleased. Thank you and your wonderful staff! I am forever grateful. : more

I had oral cancer and I have a digestive condition that could become life threatening. I could develop a life threatening infection from dental work. In spite of all this Dr. Alfred Shirzadnia, DDS of Herald Square Dental treated me. He is one of the best and most caring dentist in the world.I came to him hopeless, in pain and health failing due to the condition of my mouth. Been a client of Dr. Pasch for many years and love the quality of service from all the staff in the office. Dr. Pasch has always been friendly and informative on the procedures. He made me feel less scared and comfortable when I received my first set of dentures many years ago and now that I 039;m back for my second pair The service has been the best. I first visited visited the Denture Center on 6/30/10 and received excellent treatment from Dr. Shirzadnia which consisted of implantation procedures. I am writing this to convey my appreciation for the excellent work that was done on my teeth. My teeth were in a bad shape due to my own neglect. Only because I have had bad experiences in the past which left my being turned off from getting dental check ups. From the very first day/visit at Herald Square Dental my care/treatment by the staff has been pleasant and quite comforting. My doctor, Arthur Yam, is the ultimate professional. He is quite pleasing to talk to and explains everything prior to care. He has my complete trust. I highly recommend him to any future patients. Again his care has allowed me to smile again and to eat food that I stopped from a long time ago. I look forward to being under his care for my annual routine checkups.
