After spending about 30 minutes in the store without a "hello" or can I show a dress I was in shock that a store with prices in the thousands of dollars wouldn't think service is important. It honestly doesn't surprise me because the woman who owns this store owned Suky which went out of business. more

Fantastic Service and Selections 8/14/2007

I was very impressed by the service I received from the people at Shimmer, especially from Mary and Pat. The selection of dresses and gowns is fabulous. I found Shimmer to carry gowns that are not easily found in other stores or boutiques, thus making the shop a very unique one. I love Shimmer and I would recommend it to all my family and friends. Thank you for making my experience buying a mother of the groom gown a positive and happy one. more

Dressed to impress 12/20/2005

If you are looking for a varied selection of evening wear, Shimmer is the place to go. They carry fashionable, high end gowns made to impress. Dress available vary from floor length to cocktail length and include a selection of dress suits. They really do have something for most every formal event, including fine evening bags and jewelery. There is even a small sale rack in the rear of the store. more
