Best

Great food. And they have the FASTEST delivery. If I'm hungry, Shilla definitely gets my business. And the delivery people are really nice. I'm a regular.

Worst

Very salty, not warm when it got here. Pretty to look at but not worth the price.

It wasn't amazing, it wasn't terrible. The only actual negative point was that they forgot to include the sauce for our Bibimbap. So sad were we. more

don't know own hours 4/26/2008

our familly went to this place on 4-27-08 at 1005pm.We were told that they were closed. it says on their website that they are open till 11pm. the employee said he has been there 22 years and they have never been open till 11. Well, maby you should take a look at their website. He suggested we walk to burger king, maby he was not too crazy about his place. maby they should eleminate their website if they don't want to know what their hours are. Cons: don't know own hours more

Great Customer Service 2/29/2008

I think this place was great. I came here last Friday with my boyfriend for dinner and we had a great time here. The staff are all very friendly. We were seated promptly and my boyfriend was very impressed because we never ran out of water. I was a little skeptical at first because when we first came in there was no one in site, but less then a minute later a woman pops out with a greeting and a smile. The food was actually good. I was suprised with the huge portions we both got. I would recommend everyone try the spider rolls. It's a little spicy because of the red sauce, but delicious! I've never seen huge spider rolls in my life! We've decided to come back on our next trip to Seattle! Pros: Great and Friendly service, parking, food Cons: Make reservations because it does get busy! not really a con though. more

Amazing Korean Restaurant 8/10/2007

Shilla is my favorite when it comes to Korean. The service is some of the best I've had--everyone is friendly, fast, and helpful. The portions are more than enough for one person. The location is great and parking is easy. The combination of the atmosphere, the staff, and the flavors keeps me coming back. Pros: Great service, food, and location more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE... EVER. 5/25/2007

Kal bi was terrible, i've had better beef in china, and the service was downright degrading. Not only could we not understand the waitress be she ordered us around like children, telling me to go sit down when i got up to get the water pitcher for a refill. What's worse is that as we were leaving with empty stomaches and wallets the 'manager' came up to us and demanded to know why we left such little tip (7-8%, 1/2 of what i'd give for normal service). As i tried to brush off the question with a i didn't have change, and i'm in a hurry to be somewhere, he called me rude and i left. what's worse is that later my companions who stayed to confront the manager told me he had threated to kick my *** and that i was being rude... go figure. Pros: location, parking Cons: service, food more

Excellent food! 8/10/2006

During our 7-day long trip to Seattle, I went to Shilla four times with various groups of people, ranging from Koreans to Midwestern Americans to Cypriots to Russians. Everyone liked it, without exception. Sushi and rolls were fantastic, as were the Korean dishes. Service was Ok, but the waiting staff more than compensated for it by friendliness. Prices are very reasonable, too. A great find! Pros: Excellent high quality food, good variety more

Terrible service 8/11/2005

The food was just okay. Echo the sentiments of the previous poster in regards to the service. After eating our meal, the waitress informed us that they would not accept our Entertaiment coupon since we had ordered Bi Bim Bap as one of the entrees. more

Worst Service Ever!! 10/2/2004

After arriving, we were left standing at the entrance for what seemed like an eternity. Waiters came by serving nearby tables and said hello, but left us standing there. The food was mediocre, yet overpriced. We had Kalbi and broiled mackeral. The Kalbi came cubed and wasn't tasty. The mackeral was too salty. You can get better Korean elsewhere for less. Getting attention from the waiters is diffucult. They walk by and ignore you even if they see you. You can forget about getting your tea refilled. After paying the bill, a waiter comes to our table and starts yelling. She asks how many dishes we ordered and says we cannot use two coupons unless we order more dishes and slams the bill on our table and walks away. We were utterly confused. We looked at the bill and it wasn't even for our table. Wow!!! Pros: Nothing Cons: , Overpriced more

OK Korean 4/22/2004

There really is nothing that outstanding about Shilla. But on the other hand, nothing really is terrible either. Banchan is a bit above average but a little bit heavy on the salty side. Service can be slow and you do need to get a waitress' attention to get seated or you will be left standing near the entrance for awhile. Shilla also serves Japanese food that is created with a Korean touch. You will only know what this means if you have eaten Japanese food in a Korean owned restaurant. Pros: banchan, varied menu, endless parking Cons: , slow service more

Great lunch place 9/15/2002

I love walking to the Shilla for lunch. The service is excellent and the presentation is lovely. I enjoy having the teriyaki chicken and tempura combination. The price is great and so is the food. more

Overpriced!! 9/3/2002

The amount of BBQ Beef I can get in Shilla is only half of the amount I get at Hoosoni, a Korean resturant located at North of Seattle. Pros: Friendly Cons: Overpriced more

Bi Bim Bap to die for 5/30/2002

My favorite dishes at Shilla are the Bi Bim Bap's and Bi Bim Nang Myun. A nice mix of vegetables and meats over rice or buckwheat noodles with as much gochujang (spicy pepper paste) as I can stand. Their Kim-chi has a nice flavour, but is not overpoweringly spiced. The waitresses at Shilla are wonderful, quick, friendly, and genuinely nice. Something adding to the ambience, usually when we go there at least one of the waitresses is in colorful traditional korean dress. Shilla is one of my favorite places to go for lunch or dinner, and is only about a mile from my abode. I definitely recommend it. more
