Great doctors. Poor administrative staff. 1/9/2012

the doctors are all wonderful and their reputations precede them. But the same is also true of the administrative staff, in that You heqr a lot about them. Their reputation however is not good. I thought maybe it was just me, having problems communicating with the scheduler and others at the front desk. I have heard from other parents that they were so glad another pediatrician was coming to Dunwoody. Just because they couldn't wait to not have to deal with Dunwoody Peds. anymore. This is really a shame. My experience with them is that they are rude, abrupt, don't listen to the parents and are very unwilling to put any effort into a request. They genuinely seem to hate their jobs and having to deal with people in the course of their day. I don't why the morale seems so low, the attitudes are so bad, but in this economy I am sure the practice could find workers happy to be there! more

Truly care about children 8/25/2007

I like every doctor I have seen in this practice; they are knowledgeable and professional. I believe Dr. Sherwinter is one of the finest doctors in town. The office is usually on time for appointments, yet the doctors take time to be friendly and encouraging with the kids and to answer all of the parents' questions. They follow up-to-date practices, but they also apply common sense. They are very particular when making referrals to other professionals. I also like that they will see their own patients at the hospital, so you get continuity of care when you want it most - when your child is seriously ill. I have recommended this practice to a number of friends, and they have all been pleased. Pros: great with kids, very knowledgeable, new facility in Alpharetta more
