STAY AWAY FROM SHERMAN OAKS VETERINARY GROUP on Woodman Ave and Moorpark! They KILLED my healthy sweet dog after convincing me that she needed 2 rear knee surgeries at the same time. Dr WESTON RICHTER cut her up, and left town to vacation while my baby was in recovery, and left NO one to help her if something went wrong. My baby was overmedicated on RIMADEL and METACAM, and other pain meds. When she was throwing the medicine up, Dr. Shyla Franklin at the same vet group, and Jan Everson, the office manager insisted that the baby still needed the METACAM. They did NOT flush her out, but instead kept giving her pain medicine, and while she was getting sicker and sicker, they did nothing to help her, and this includes DR SHYLA FRANKLIN, and DR. WISELY , along with the original DR. WESTON RICHTER who will tell you your animal needs surgery NO MATTER WHAT the case may really be. After they were sick of my trying to save my dog, JAN EVERSON ( the office murderer, oh, I meant manager) sent us to the ANIMAL EMERGENCY on Ventura Blvd( which SOVG owns , in Studio city to kill my dog in such a horrific way that I cannot even write about it. They have NO VET with these poor animals overnight, yet charge you as if your pet is in the hospital. The point is not the money, but the lack of care and compassion that your animal will receive there by 8 out of 10 of their vets. The fair thing that should happen to JAN EVERSON, and all the Doctor's that did this to my dog, should be for them to be overdosed with Metacam and Rimadal, and all the other pain medicine they felt my dog could handle, until they expire from being overdosed, exactly as my dog did. If they could suffer the way these poor animals suffer under their care, maybe they would stop killing animals, and stop their horrific practices. Until then, they will continue to KILL animals, and I pray that your animal is NOT one of the ones that they over medicate, or misdiagnose, or KILL. Stay away, and go ANYWHERE else for great pet care. Find a good, loving, vet that has 24 hour care BEFORE you need the VET!
