Coco is amazing! 11/25/2009

I've been going to Coco at Shear Bliss for a while now, and she is phenomenal. I always get such wonderful compliments on my color and cut. This summer I had the Kerotin treatment done before my brother's wedding and it looked amazing! You won't be disappointed. more

Very good good and cozy place 11/23/2009

I am one of those people , who likes to research before try something new. Which I did in this case as well. Just moved to this neighborhood. Salon has 5 star ratings. And I must say, I give them 5 star too. Cozy, sweet and professional staff and atmosphere. I got a great color and a haircut. And they have a specials. If you are first time client. You receive a free cut with any color service. Which I did. And very satisfied. I asked for Lana. And very glad. I recommend this place for sure. I want to thank LACE so much I had the same hair style for years. I wanted something new and I was reffered to lace. Great Salon...Go See Coco!! 9/23/2009

Most stylist give people that feeling of wondering ""what did i just do?"" or ""Do I trust this person?"".. At Shear Bliss, Coco is my stylist and I usually have this feeling when leaving other salons BUT Not Coco!!! Sheer Bliss is cozy, filed with great people and great service..The people who work there are never rude..which is a PLUS for me when it comes to any type of service. I highly recommend them. Coco is very talented and whenever i know im going to see her...I never have to worry. She is a professional at what she does. The cuts are precise, the color is fantastic all in all, she does a wonderful job. This will be my fourth time going to COCO and I have never doubted her. I am unsure about what style I want, but I greatly confide in her and trust that I will not leave disappointed! I have been going to Lana on and off for a few years and every time I have gone somewhere else I always come back to Lana! I can't tell you how hard it is to find someone who can color blonde hair in the city without making it look white or brassy. She is truly a master colorist who knows what she's doing! Hey, after I read so many reviews here and most of them about you girl. I would say. Yeap...... They are right.!!!! You are the best.!!! You are the best colorist and thanks for convincing me to get a Brazilian Keratin Treatment. It?s truly an amazing. I spend 2 min in the morning and it?s beautiful, shiny and healthy. I love the place, I loved Lana 6/16/2009

I was referred to the salon by few of my friends. I was so despaired for a good color and cut. My hair was a mess. Lana fixed my color and offered me to get a Brazilian Keratin Treatment. And or God. Isn?t it the best thing ever?.. I love it. I get up in the morning, wash and go. Its shiny, its pretty and its all mine. Thank you, thank you, and thank you. Pros: best coloring more

Great Place - Ask for Coco 5/21/2009

I follwed Coco here from another salon and I'm glad I did. Shear Bliss is a nice salon with a friendly staff. No attitude as with some other salons in the area. Coco is the best stylist I've had in recent memory. She listens to what you want, offers suggestions and you walk away with even a better style than you imagined. Personally, I made a mess of my color by doing it myself, and she did her magic with highlights and lowlights and conditioning and I can now show my face in public again, not to mention be on the receiving end of many compliments. Coco is the best hair stylist and colorist that I have come across in new york. I found her at amore de hair three years ago and have followed her ever since. She gives me the best color and cut. She listens to me and I end up with exactly what I ask for. I love her and highly reccomend her to anyone who wants a great hair ezperience. more

I highly recommend hairstylist CoCo. She has been cutting my hair for 5 years-my longest relationship :-) She is really efficient at cutting and is especially skilled with curly hair. She is also accommodating and a good listener. more

Best Hair Colorist In NYC 11/19/2008

A few weeks ago, my friend told me about Shear Bliss and reccomended Christine. So one night I was walking down the street and looked in the window of Shear Bliss. I was amazed on how clean and elegant the salon was, so I decided to walk in and make an appointment w/Christine. I am natural a brunette and decided to go blonde. At the end of the service I was so amazed and excited to show off my new look!! I HIGHLY reccomend Christine. She treated me very kind and listen to what I wanted my hair to look like. And I walked out of the salon extremely happy. Thank you Christine!! Pros: Hairstylist listened to exactly how I expected to look and did exactly what I wanted. Cons: Receptionist seemed a little rude. more

I have been going to sugar for 2 yrs now and i cant stress enough how amazing she is with color and and haircuts, her blowdrys are amazing and can last you for days(especially her ""victoria seceret hair blowdry"") im so addicted to her blowdry's that i have to see her evey week. she has patients and an eye for detail. ive had everything done from color to updo's and everything inbetween she knows her stuff. Great Team, Love you all guys. 9/25/2008

Few of my girlfriends reffered me to this salon in my neighborhood. And I just love how there hair looks, its always shiny, bouncy and just great. Love it. So i had to cheat on my stylist of 7 years and try you guys out. And, oh my god, my hair is alive again. I didn't even know that there was something to make my hair so shiny and so soft , i have used everything from local store to really expensive products. She used a Protein Treatment for the hair.Nobody ever offered me or teached me how to take care of my hair. She really took her time to educate me on my hair. I received a great head massage by the girl name Irina and that felt so good and relaxing. And after Sugar cut and dried my hair, I felt so great. A good hairstylist can really change the way you feel about yourself and I am surprised about one of the reviewsI read here. She probably had a bad day that even a great haircut couldn't make her feel better. And I don't think to pay $60 is a lot to pay for a great cut and dry now. Thank you, Sugar. I am yours now.
