Very Impressive 7/15/2012

I appreciated the service I received at Shane Co very much. The sales person (Zach) was very friendly and showed me exactly what I was looking for. He didn't try to push me into buying something I couldn't afford and everything he showed me was in my price range. After buying the engagement ring additional staff who didn't help me on the day I bought my ring recognized me and helped me get the ring in to be re-sized. The ring was ready when they told me it would be and in addition to the re-size they also made sure they cleaned it and when we got it back it was like new. Very impressive, would recommend to anyone! Thanks! more

Buyer Beware! 3/31/2009

My friend just had $475 taken by the Shane Co! He had a ring on lay-away and was planning on proposing to his girlfriend next month. They told him yesterday that the lay-away had been canceled back in January, and that he would only get $525 back in a gift card. A gift card?!? Insult to injury. Supposedly it is due to their restructuring. Best advice: don't go to Shane Co! You cannot trust them! Pros: Cheap Prices Cons: Unethical. Bad customer service. more

Shane Co does not ALWAYS honor their guarantees/warranties 1/17/2009

My fiance purchased a ring without telling me, proposed to me, then we started ring shopping together. I didnt like the mountings at Shane Co, so we went to go refund the ring. It hadn't even been 30 days yet (they have 60 day guarantee) and we were refused anything but store credit/exchanges because they had filed for Chapter 11, YET they are running their business as NORMAL. I am going to small claims court to get the money back, and reporting them. If they want to remain a competitor in their industry, they should RESPECT their guarantees and warranties. I don't know much about law, or court ordered mandates, but I know that as a company who claims to be your friend in the diamond business, they should AT least stay true to their guarantees. An engagement ring is NO small investment, and it is something that you will have for life. Being in the industry they are in, they should KNOW this. I am beyond disgusted and angry with them myself, and I swear that I will get what's MINE. more

The lowest price for what we wanted. 11/1/2005

When my husband and I decided to get married we had a diamond that we just needed a setting for. I went on to their website and found many different settings that I liked. I knew exactly what I wanted when we went to the store. The service guy was not pushy at all- we told him what we wanted and he didn't try to sell us anything more than we wanted or asked for. I will go back there again for my jewlery needs in the future. more

The Shane Company's store off State Street offers the finest selection in Rubys, Saphires, diamonds and pearls. Because they are a direct buyer, their gems are of a higher quality. They also offer gems in different shapes and sizes, such as a heart shape! I love that their rubys are a true red, not purple or pink. more

The Shane Company is my first choice when it comes to jewelry. We bought my wedding ring there 10 years ago and I loved their selection and quality. We have since returned and purchased several beautiful pieces. If you are in the market for wedding ring, diamonds, pearls or other stones then you should check them out. They have sized my ring and cleaned it several times. The sales associates are always friendly and provide excellent customer service. They are helpful but not pushy. We will purchase our jewelry from them in the future. more
