came there to clean up my pieces and wanted to fix one broken piece not from Shane, to do it faster. Rating 2 for their past good customer service otherwise I'd give them 1.
The broken piece I gave them with the appraisal, their estimator/manager pulled a number 3.5 lower then the appraisal as a replacement value if they would do the repair job poorly and would damage my piece. I started wondering why their value is so low and such, the sale person defended the estimation and told me that their replacement value is usually that low and it's perfectly normal. Nice, so if they would do the job bad, they would rip me off on the replacement value too. This is what it took to make their repeated customer for years go and loose my business. My piece was fixed by a different store, 2.5 times cheaper and twice as fast, the replacement value in case of the damage matched what the piece was sold for. Ye... being under bankruptcy protection does not do them good... Shane used to do business reasonably and respect the fair market value when it came to quality of the diamonds, not anymore.
