One of the simple pleasures of summers is eating the salad. They may order 1/2 of salad over lunch making it reasonable for a mid-day meal. The service is always wonderful. They popcorn is wonderfully fresh every time I go back (which I've been doing for about 10 years). My work friends think Sgt's is a great location for a happy hour. Close to work, close to freeway...a great place to meet. Overall, it I really like this place and even thinking about having a wedding groom's dinner in one of their meeting type rooms. more

A good place for an informal meal and beer. Bar can be smokey at times, so stay away from the bar area if smoke bothers you. Sandwich/salad cost about 7-10 dollars. They have Happy Hour specials. (IT'S really in Oakdale, but Judy's book wouldn't accept Oakdale, MN) more

Restaurant 8/18/2005

This newly relocated restaurant has a strong neighborhood following. They offer good basic food consisting of steak, chicken, and burgers. Wait staff are friendly and courteous. They treat you as if you are part of the family. Food is served hot and as you ordered it. Atmosphere is a typical midwestern restaurant, not fancy but pleasant and inviting. more
