Way too expensive 6/18/2011

I used this company once and I will never use them again. I found a coupon in Valpak for Service Pro’s of Virginia for a free service call with a repair, so I thought I would give them a try. They charged me much more than I expected to fill my A/C with Freon. The next day I called around to other companies and found out that Service Pro’s of Virginia prices are at least double what other companies charged for the same service. Service Pro’s of Virginia charge $147 for the first pound of Freon and $68 for each additional pound. It cost me more than other companies would charge without a coupon. Do yourself a favor and check out the prices of other companies in the Richmond area first before you call Service Pro’s of Virginia. more

Service is Right! 3/21/2011

I have been using Service Pro's for the past 5 years. My home warranty company suggested them for my maintence contract and I have since gotten rid of the home warranty company and kept my maintence contract. Every time I have ever called, with a question or service I have always been treated with the highest respect. From the office staff to the technicains I have been grateful to have them. They are so helpful and honest. I had a call once because my air was not blowing cold and the tech came out and checked the A/C only to find a clogged filter. Did he try to get me to buy a bunch of things or upgrade to something else? NO he told me honestly what was wrong and even told me where to get better filters. I trust them. That says a lot from me. My husband used to say I didn't believe the moon came out at night if I didn't see it for myself! They call you 30 min before they come also that way you don't have to wait all day for someone to be there. I enjoy the people there and the service they provide and I believe I know they all by name now! They are how businesses used to be. HONEST not an easy find anymore. more

Bad service with a bad attitude 7/6/2007

Unfortunately my home insurance policy uses Service Pro as a contractor. After a week of trying to schedule an appointment with SP I have been unable to. The receptionist/secretary seem to go out of their way to set up barriers to scheduling the appointment. I had an appointment on Friday (6 days after I first contacted them) but the secretary canceled it because I did not call them back in 10 minutes. I called them back within 30, but that was unacceptable. In addition the secretary told me it was my fault because I was not willing to make myself accessible to her. Because of their poor service and incredibly bad attitude I will not only never deal with them again, but I am canceling my home warrantee which uses Service Pro as a contractor. Cons: bad service and a terrible attitude more
