$400 a year, and $49 service fees... not worth a penny of it. \r
Repairs to my sprinkler timer took a week before anyone showed up. The first contractor they called never showed up (that was a day of sitting around the house waiting), and the second one it took four visits (four days of sitting around all day waiting) and almost a month before the end result which left me very unhappy. He initially tried to wedge a random piece of what looked like plastic from some packaging and call that a repair. I told him that the jimmy rig wasn't acceptable. In the end, the contractor took my $125 6-station sprinkler timer and replaced it with a $35 4-station sprinkler timer. I had never approved a replacement, only a repair which the contractor and I had specifically discussed. Service One choose not to honor the contract that said ""replacements will be of comparable features, capacity, and efficiency."" \r
The moral of this review... use a different home warranty company. I wish I had.
Cons: slow responses, lack of customer service, jimmy rigged repairs
