Sente Mortgage were my Champions!!! 5/12/2012

I was blessed with Sente Mortgage working for me, and helping me get my first house. Blessed, because my Real Estate Agent Jacki Conner was the one that connected us together. Blessed, because everyone there worked with me like they were my champions from Steve Benet and Mark Fontenote to Liz Saenz at the reception desk. They help me, and took care of me, and made it happen!! more

Frustrating Experience 11/22/2011

I will try to be fair: I am NOT addressing this review to Sente Mortgage but to a particular loan officer and his team. Rabih Chamseddine is the guy that you should NOT be working with. I will tell you why: He wants your full trust, do whatever he wants you to do in regards to preparing documents for closing. First, you trust him, assuming that he is doing what he knows, but then he directs you to do things inappropriate like in-correct statements in the letters that needs to be filled out. Once you tell him your concern about this and ask any other way around he threatens you with not approving the loan which you need to buy your home. Then when you say you are going to make false statements then he shares underwriting rules which they usually don't and you find a way to solve the problem. He continues in this direction although he really doesn't want to because it may be more work for them, I don't know. Finally you do everything according to the book which is the way it's supposed to be and you are ready for closing. He does not shows up at the closing date. They don't have to be there but you would as a courtesy. So, once he is done he completely ignores you which is a bummer. So, that was my experience. Of course, this situation might very well have not applied to all people. I am not going to say ""DON""T TRUST THIS GUY"" but just be very careful if you have to work with him. He say a lot of in-correct things. I was refereed to him by my real estate agent who is a great and professional lady and had worked with him before and was happy with him. Now, she broke her ties with him, and took him out of her flyer and everything (at least, that's what she told me to do). more

Very Pleasant Experience 8/16/2011

Moved here from overseas and was introduced to Sente through my relo agent. My loan officer and his team were awesome! I thought in this kind of financial climate it would be a HUGE process. I prepared for that and to my surprise and my family?s delight everything went smooth. My rate was good, closing costs were standard but what impressed me the most was that I had my final numbers four days before closing. For me that was super important so I HIGHLY recommend talking to these professionals. Even if you don't use them go talk to them for 30 minutes and you will be blown away by their financial knowledge. I was. more

As unprofessional as they come... 10/5/2010

You would think in this day and age of thinner margins for lenders and brokers that you would find people in the industry working harder than ever.\r \r Unfortunately, at Sente, they seem to be going in the opposite direction.\r \r I decided to use Sente based on a family recommendation. I was a slam dunk loan for them, just do the paperwork, nothing fancy, and they would lock in their fee. Halfway through the process they just disappeared. No phone calls, no emails.\r \r The one thing they did manage to do was add me to their spam e-mail list and bulk junk mailing list, both under the guise of ""financial advice"". Albeit unsolicited advice.\r \r When I asked to be removed from the mailing list a few months later, I got a series of emails asking why, and then he had the gall to ask if I had gotten my mortgage taken care of!! Of course I did, by someone who actually returned phone calls. Oh, and when it came time for the person who recommended Sente to me to refinance, he went somewhere else as well. more
