After passing by this place several times I decided to stop in one day. The first time I went the food was quite good. Everything had the right amount of seasoning, sauce, and the food wasn't too dried out considering that it's a buffet. I was surprised that the place was as slow as it was though. It was 7pm and there were only a few people in the place.
Two weeks later though it was considerably worse. All the food was dried up, the soups were greasy, and the spring rolls slid out of your hand. Everything was either overcooked, or undercooked. To make matters worse there were fragments of bones in most of the dishes. It appeared that the chef didn't bother to take out the bones, but just chopped up everything, cooked it, and tossed it in the sauce. To make matters worse the manager said that it was standard in Chinese Food to have bones in it. Also when I took a few crab legs I found that I was charged extra money that wasn't posted anywhere. Now the 10 years that I've lived in Orlando I've seen the name of this place change so many times. First it was Big Apple Buffet, then Semoran Buffet, then Beijing 2008 Buffet, and now I got an ad for Remme Grill & Buffet. I'm thinking that it's owned by the same people and that they keep changing their name because it gets many bad reviews, change name, and then it's busy again.
Pros: not bad service
Cons: hidden crab leg surcharge
