Consign at risk 10/22/2008

consign only what you don't care that you'll never see again and don't mind that you won't get paid anything. My advice is to consign either at Secondi's in Dupont Circle or Secondhand Rose in Georgetown. more

I am a great fan of Second Chance. They have great labels from saks and neimans plus funky things from the local high end boutiques. The shoes are very in style and up to date designer hand bags. No fakes. The prices are good a fraction of what you would pay in the store. they have some designer jeans like 7's. But, the address is not what is listed here. They are at 4920 Fairmont Ave., Bethesda. more

This designer consignment store in Bethesda, Maryland is truly DESIGNER carrying labels such as Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Prada, Tods, Cavalli, Armani, Eskandar, Judith Leiber, Dior, etc. Many clothes still have the original tags on them-if they don't, no worry, the clothes have only been worn once or twice by previous owners- Ladies and Gentlemen who have more clothes than days in the year. I am still sorry that I did not buy the pristine white Bottega purse I saw last year! But I did not miss the beautiful, python, Judith Leiber clutches. Eight to be exact! If you haven't been, put a trip to Second Chance on the top of your list! more

A Great Find 3/26/2007

I'm a little hesitant to review this store, because it is such a great find and I don't want others grabbing up the great deals before I get there! The owner keeps the racks filled with designer clothes in excellent condition (many with the tags still on!). If you haven't yet, you must check this place out. more
