I usually don't have enough time to write a complaint, but I have continuously had THEE worst costumer service at the Bothell location on Thrashers Corner. THE WORST!!!!! The manager Melony is awful, she is completely rude and always snotty when I go in, I have encountered her yelling at her employee's and find it completely unprofessional and I don't know how she's gotten away with it because I cannot be the only one who's complained about this (OTHER PEOPLE WERE IN THE WAITING ROOM!).
The employee's aren't much better, Mckenzie is a hit or miss. If you buy something she's lights up and she could not be nicer but if you don't she becomes so unbelievably rude. She makes it completely obvious that they are paid commissions. This brunette that is the most natural looking out of them all is so completely pushy to everyone, the lobby was full and people just wanted to get it beds, and with EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM she was on their case about buying this and that making it even MORE completely noticeable that we are not customers we are just buyers. There was a girl who I do not see there anymore (she probably got FIRED), always tried having me buy facial lotions...I DON'T NEED FACIAL LOTIONS WHEN I HAVE A LOTION... CAN YOU NOT SEE I'M NOT INTERESTED AT ALL..
So I decided that maybe I should come in, in more of the morning instead and found Katy. I told her my story and how the night girls are completely rude and the first time she treated me great, gave me a complimentary pair of winkies because I hadn't brought mine in, gave me her apologies, and sent me to a bed (with out insisting I buy something). But I came in the next day and maybe she'd forgotten me, she tried to get me to 're-up' on my package (what kind of slang terminology is that?) which I know was at $47, so it wasn't completely out of tans and I had gotten $20 extra on my last purchase so it was in reality at $67 and she insisted it was at about $25, and I had ran out of my $20 package. She than after not purchasing a new package tried to get me to do some sort of trade my lotion in discount where I would be given 40% off... Never going to Seattle Sun Tan again.
The one thing that had me give it one star was it's cleanliness, very clean and the beds are always hot. But the prices and horrible customer service run me out the door. I just wish there was some sort of monthly membership you could get everything unlimited, therefor maybe I would not be persistently irritated by the horrible girls in this salon.
