Who knew? Who could possibly have predicted the magic of last season? Nostradamus himself failed on this one. But what of next year you may ask. Nate's gone, Mr. Sonic himsel...

Go Supes 3/3/2006

I think the Sonics games are a really good time. The team may not be doing too well, and who knows whether they'll be here for another 20 years. But you may as well go while you can and enjoy the action. The game presentation is pretty good, and there's always plenty of energy...certainly more than at a sleepy baseball game. While the crowd may not be as loud as it is at Quest, a night at the Key is usually going to be pretty entertaining. more

Great way to introduce basketball to my daughter 8/20/2005

Well, my daughter showed an interest in basketball last season. She's a soccer player, and I've coached her since age 6. Last season, another assistant coach on her soccer team said his company had box seats for a Storm game in Seattle. He was inviting all the girls on the soccer team, so we said, "sure!" This was our first ever experience in Seattle. Myself, son and daughter went to the game with the rest of the group. We had never even watched a Storm game, so had no idea about any of the players, much less women's basketball. The box seats are beautiful. There was a plasma tv in there and seating for 12 or 13 (I think). A waiter came in and took our orders and whatever we needed. It was really nice to be spoiled! We learned a lot about basketball that night, and had an awesome time cheering on our new hometown! If you can make it to a game, I'd recommend it. The Storm is actually pretty good! :) more

Seattle SuperSonics 8/19/2005

Key Arena, home of the Seattle SuperSonics of the National Basketball Association, and located in the Seattle Center, may now seem dated compared to Seattle's shiny new football and baseball stadiums, but it's still a rockin' place to see a basketball game. If you're not there in season, as about a tour of the facility. more

Lets Go Supes! 8/14/2005

Who knew? Who could possibly have predicted the magic of last season? Nostradamus himself failed on this one. But what of next year you may ask. Nate's gone, Mr. Sonic himself. But the all important core of the team is returning. Plus Luke and Nick have another year of seasoning, and Ray is the friggin' man! We may not win the division again, but I see playoffs in the future once again. more
