We purchased three appliances over two months ago. One was know to be broken before placed on installers truck, and the other was discovered to be broken after installed. We still have not received replacements for either of these appliances and have been without stove or oven for months now. The installation crew even took our working stovetop and refused to put it back in when the new one didn't work. Customer service lies to get me off the phone or hangs up on me when I try to find out when I can expect my appliances. more

a SEARS store that understands what SERVICE is 1/31/2007

ok, its 50 miles from here, but if I EVER need anything from SEARS, ever again, I am going to this store I had my SAMSUNG DVD recorder, 12 days old, crap out on me. the local SEARS store was UNWILLING, or UNABLE to understand the concept of Satisfaction guaranteed, or your money back but they did in Texarkana. I called the National Customer Center, and told them my local catalog store did not have what I wanted, and then refused to honor the SEARS guarantee. I was going to texarkana, and asked if I could return it there, I had my receipt, and all bits and pieces together in the original box. shouldn't be any problem, here is a direct phone number, if you need to call me from the store. a nice gentleman named GEORGE works in Electronics at the Texarkana Store. I explained to him what had gone on, and he processed the refund of almost $200 without a squawk. ant it wasn't even their problem, its just that they understand the guarantee..... and took care of the customer SEARS in Texarkana runs a class act, and is a credit to the chain I intend to shop there next time I need something from SEARS, forget the local catalog store. more
