Had the oil change on my first car and had puddles of oil on my driveway for the next couple of days. Turns out they didnt tighten the oil filter enough or possible screwed it in WRONG!!! My second car, a mercedes CLK, oil changed, went on vacation came back, puddle of oil underneath in my garage. Took it back, leaking from you guessed it, oil filter. Waited for new filter, put it in, they claimed to have fixed it, but nope, still leaked. They must have torqued that cap on so tight cause they didnt no what it was but it was no match for the pressure. This car has never had an oil leak problem. Finally after realizing the slow leak was not the leftover from the first time, I took it to Mercedes and they sad the retainer or gasket was not installed!!!! COME ON GUYS!!!! YOU DONT HAVE A CLUE, but i'm sure you have access to manuals and drawings!!!! It's an oil filter, it don't matter if its a fancy one! If you don't know how to do it, don't do it! Now my care is leaking oil from another part of the engine, and I don't know if it was because of this, I wonder if oil even made it to the engine with the faulty installation, causing overheating and the new leaks. Went to this place cause I didn't trust another, now I realize you can't trust any auto repair place.
