Schecter Nancy Md

I was refer. to Dr Schecter by my regular Dr. I have been having symptoms that present like MS and have had this going on and off for some time now. Dr Schecter took all my medical records and she spent a lot of time reviewing and asking her questions. I am still waiting for some test results but as a DR she is very through and she didn't go to school for being best friends with her patients she went to school to help people. She is a Dr who will not stop until questions are answered. I don't beleive that someone would write a negative review. Yes she doesn't have the newest office but she is down to earth and so is her staff. I have seen another Dr and they act like they are in some IVORY TOWER they don't know your name and don't care to they just want your money for your visit. So if her having the not so modern office is going is the trade off for her caring and deligence then so be it. Pros: she won't stop until you have answers Cons: sometimes you have to wait more

I always review what others say about a Doctor or restaurant or anywhere I have never been before. I thought it was important to see what others say so I would know what to expect myself. Well, don't always believe everything you hear or read without experiencing it for yourself. I have been dizzy for over a moth now and my Dr. referred me to Dr. Schecter. After reading the comments about her I was neverous about going to see her. I can honestly say after going there, I am truly grateful! She was an outstanding Doctor who really seemed to care about you. She was ""NEVER"" rude or never talked down to me like another review had said. She was EXTREMELY nice, caring, and compassionate. She had her staff schedule me for an MRI which I am waiting to have. I must say, I would recommend her any friend or family member. And not to mention her staff is really friendly and down to earth! Take my advice, she is worth going to!! Pros: Great Care and Compassion! Cons: Couldn't name any if I had to!! more

I've been diagnoised with MS and my regular doctor referred me to Dr. Schecter. She is very thorough and will take her time with you, no matter how long it takes. She spent an 1 1/2 with me one day talking about my condition and answered all my questions. Her staff is very nice and I always feel welcome. I don't mind if I have to wait because I know that if she was willing to spend 1 1/2 hours with me and give me that detailed attention, she is doing the same for all her patients. I will say, she is mostly all business...not big on the side chat. But I don't mind, her thoroughness and dedication to her profession, will keep me a patient of hers for a long time. I had a terrible experience with this Dr. She was 50 minutes late and when I mentioned this, she, rather than an apology, said I would not find a neurologist that would be more on time.. Also she yelled at me to turn off my phone. I tried to turn it off and she repeated herself and got angry. Her next comment was that I had not filled out her forms properly. I feel that a person with any kind of health problem should never be subjected to this kind of treatment. She seems to have no respect for anyone other than herself, that because she has MD after her name she has a right to speak to people like they were of a lower species than she. I am not used to being talked to that way. I just got up and left as fast as I could. Cons: Rude lady! 50 minutes late and hatefull voice. Dirty office carpet, very shabby. more
