I am disappointed that a foot specialist would recommend Saxon Shoes after the experience that I had. The customer service was a nightmare. Education of the shoe sales woman zero....

Very poor customer service..... 3/7/2012

Each time I have gone into this store, I have managed to find shoes with little help. The Back Room sales people are the exception.....always friendly and very helpful. But, even when I do find shoes, checking out is a nightmare. Each time I have been in line, there has been one cash register open, with people waiting while there are 2 or 3 other salespeople ignoring the situation. Yes.....someone was eating behind the counter while not paying any attention to customers waiting. What a shame. more

GREAT STORE 12/13/2009

The shoes are by far the best around even if they are on the little high side. Anitawalker55 if you are from around here you should know who the kids dept work there ar MULTI signs downstairs regarding sign in and since each worker spends the time to fit shoes correctly on the kids it takes time RUSHing get you nowhere except wrong shoe sizes! Get a life . Pros: Selection Cons: Prices more

Not what it once was... 11/21/2009

Dockers? Hush Puppy? Timberline? I can find a better selection of these mediaocre brands at Shoe Carnival. I went to Saxon's - Richmond's ""premiere"" shoe store to find quality shoes that I couldnt; fine elsewhere. What a disappointment. I wear a 12 W, and had hope Saxon's would have more in that size to choose from - but no. For mens's shoes - keep looking. Pros: fair selection of shoes. close to the thai place Cons: minimal selection of high end and unique brands more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER 10/22/2008

Today I visited your store at short Pump Town center in Richmond , VA. When I walked in with my mother there was no greeting or can I help you. We looked around for a few minutes and atill no help. Thats when I saw a yellow pad laying on top of a table that said ""sign in"". I did so for I really needed to buy my 2 grandchildren a pair of shoes. I found the shoes I liked , still no help. Throughout this whole event, ther was a young short dark haired lady at the register, ""eating a bag of cheese doodles"". I hate to think that this is the way that you run your store, because this will not make you any money. I was embrassed and disgusted and preceded to leave the store without ever being acknowledged. I the went and found my grands some shoes. Poor customer servive exists in this store. Pros: Excellent selection of shoes for children Cons: Pitiful customer service/Ther were no checkout lines more
