Pizza is a bit Oily but the food is so delicious more

Best pizza in West Pines. Meatball and Chicken Parma subs are also great. Have been eating here for 5 years and plan on eating here for many more. more

We have been going to Santino's for years. The service is great, they see us come in and put the bread on right away and get our drinks to the table quickly. Omar is the manager and he is wonderful, always a smile and greets our kids by name and when he has the time he goes to say hello to his customers at the tables.\r We love the food or we wouldn't go there 1 to 2 times a week! Pasta, pizza...what ever we get we are never let down! They have daily soups that are yummy . Today we had the "New England Clam Chowder" and that was Excellent! \r Thank you Santino's...your the Best! more

The food is just horrible. The pizza did not meet my expectations. I tried eating in and the food took way too long. I would never recommend this restaurant to any of my friends. The manager "Omar" was very impolite when I asked about my order, he was very rude and insulting. He didn't even apologize about the delay. The waitress messed up my order too, I ordered spaghetti with meatballs and got spaghetti with sausage. I will never eat there again. I also tried their delivery before and took over an hour and fifteen minutes long and I live about 10 minutes away, there is no reason it should take that long. I ended up calling back to cancel my order. I tried Sal's Italian restaurant and the food was great. I ordered for delivery and within half an hour my food was at my house. I would love to eat at Sal's because their pizza came out perfect, and not overcooked like Santino's. The driver was very polite at Sal's and when I ate in the waitress' didn't mess up my order she was also very polite. The food was ready very quickly. I was very satisfied with the food at Sal's but would never eat at Santino's again. more

Garlic rolls are super good loaded w/ garlic on top. Calzones are delish as well. more

Id rest well knowing that my staff knows that i would react this way, when you yell and belittle the sweetest young server to the point were she cried to me. Also its very important to point out that, the reason we didnt ask you to leave immidiately is because we are a civil bunch of hard working people, and wont go down to that level. Everyone has a bad day, but its no excuse to take it out on others. A very busy restaurant like Santino's unfortunately sometimes has a few waits and mistakes, its unavoidable... people make mistakes.Thank you for your possitive comment on the quality of the pizza... which i make 6 days a week open to close. more

If you want a real treat ask the Hostess if the chef can make you ""Chicken Angelina"" for a special treat. Delicious chicken cutlets sauteed in a lemon garlic white wine sauce with artichoke hearts, tomatoes, and capers. It sometimes is offered as the evening dinner special but if not, I've asked and they happily prepare it for me. Whether you eat in or take away you'll always have a great meal. Pros: Dinners, subs and pastas are always fresh and great tasting. Cons: PIzza could be better. Very thin crust/dough and not enough sauce and cheese. more

While not a Luxo restaurant by any means, this restaurant shines in the quality food it serves up, in a nice neighborhood style setting. I have dined there or ""ToGo"" a number of times and they have not failed me. The staff has always been friendly and accomodating. Although I am not a Food Guru or Critic, it seems to me that they use high quality ingredients in preparing their dishes. They are always tasty, and their Pizza is just right. Kudos. I guess its hard for me to like Italian resaraunts because of my double whammy, I'm italian and I'm from New York. It makes me very hard to please. This is a good Italian resaturant with good pizza, but I wouldn't write home about it!!! Pros: good service, tasty pizza Cons: Pizza needs work on the crust!! This is my favorite part if it is made right, but not here! more
