A friend and I were vacationing and had passed by Sandy's on a previous day. We decided to try it, since we were aiming for little ""hole in the wall"" places, versus big commercial eateries.\r
We went for breakfast, and I must say I really enjoyed it! The atmosphere is very informal (you seat yourself), very friendly waitresses, and colorful, beautiful pictures line the wall (they are for sale for $45-70). They have both indoor and outdoor seating..we sat indoors.\r
The food was fantastic! I ordered a veggie omlette, which was very fresh (even the mushrooms - most places throw in canned), a heaping pile of hashbrowns (great, very potato-y and not greasy at all), plus two big slices of toast for $6.50! I was STUFFED! My coffee was refilled ALL the time without me having to ask.\r
I would definately recommend Sandy's! It's a great place to go with friends or family (or even alone) before or after the beach!
Pros: Fresh food, big portions, great service
