I took a suit to Sandy's for alterations (taking up the hem on the pants and shortening the sleeves). She tells me it will take 2 weeks to do this (which seems like an awfully long time anyway). Then, I go back that day to pick it up at noon and she says it's not ready -- it will probably be done at 2 pm! Then I finally go back and get it and she charges $44! For me wasting an hour of my day driving back and forth because she doesn't have the courtesy to call she gives me $4 off! How generous! I will never go there again.
