My 4 year old daughter went to this school for half of a year and did not
learn anything the entire time she was there.
The teacher/owner does not seem to know how to work with children
and
honestly does not seen to enjoy them either. She constantly turned her
back on the 3-4 year olds to look through and pick out music and did not
understand why the children did not just sit in one place and be quiet
the entire time she busied herself. HELLO! Have you ever seen a 4 year
old before? I finally took her out of class because she was having no
fun at all and had not learned anything.
After seeing her with the little ones, I assumed she must focus her time
on the older girls. That must be where she really enjoys teaching.
There was a 1/2 year recital and ALL of the classes including the
"competition class" were horrible! I took dance classes myself
from 4-17 and I know what to look for. The older girls were doing
steps that the children should have been doing.
I know of 6 other moms that have already taken their children out
or intend on doing so at the end of the year.
Do not waste your money! I hear that there is a much better class at
Mt Hood Athletic Club and the kids have a lot of FUN. Isnt that what
Dance is really about?
