  • San Francisco Law School is pleased to join in the announcement that the merger is concluded. We are now San Francisco Law School at Alliant International University. Law School has now become a full partner with Alliant's other graduate schools, which include the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP), the Shirley M. Hufstedler School of Education, the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management and the California School of Forensic Studies. San Francisco Law School will continue operating from our 20 Haight Street campus. Most importantly, this merger will allow San Francisco Law School to continue its historic mission as an opportunity law school, with a special emphasis on providing affordable access to a quality legal education. The merger with Alliant has allowed San Francisco Law School 's law program to be approved by the United States Department of Education for financial assistance. Additionally, San Francisco Law School is now accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The merger of San Francisco Law School with Alliant has also been approved by the Committee of Bar Examiners (CBE) of the State Bar of California San Francisco Law School will also join with Alliant's other schools to explore new interdisciplinary professional programs. Over time, law students will have opportunities to interact with their colleagues in psychology, forensics, education and management to develop advanced skills that will assist them in their professional lives. Alliant operates in six California cities (San Francisco, Sacramento, Fresno, Los Angeles, Irvine and San Diego) and in three international locations (Mexico City, Hong Kong and Tokyo). It serves some 4, 000 students, and has more than 200 core faculty members. Alliant has been recognized in particular for its commitments to diversity. It is one of the leading providers of doctoral and professional education to minorities in the United States. I invite you to visit both the San Francisco Law School website at www.sfls.edu and Alliant International University 's website at www.alliant.edu. These are exciting times for San Francisco Law School and we look forward to continuing our legacy as providers of opportunity legal education with our new partners for the future, Alliant International University..
