Noticed a lot of changes since the restuarant has gone under new management in October of 2007. The presentation of the food has increased dramatically with new plates and coffee mugs, and Im sure the cooks have something to do with it as well. Very surprised on mother's day when they had salmon on special, baked pork chops, artichoke and salmon salad, and I ordered the stuffed flounder that was exquisite! Two pieces of broiled flounder stuffed with a crab dressing and two vegetables and a salad for only 12.99!!!! Definitely not something that I expected. Mabye we can look foward to some new dishes being introduced. The waitresses seem have a thick skin but service is above average and from what I've seen, if you are repeat customer they know you by name and are treated like family. Could use uniforms for the waitress's though, and mabye some more changes to the interior to help it come out of it's 40 year old same old same old hibernation. I started coming here and it felt like a dive diner, but it's seems that the owner is ready for a change and the restaurant looks like it will continue to progress into well established sit down restuarant. I think it's unfortunate that they have a smoking section and I think it's one of the things that hurts the place but I still go. Oh and the customers are from every possible facet of life. Anybody and everybody is welcome. Im hungry, time to get some breakfast!
Pros: Breakfast, dinner specials, price
Cons: Parking, and a smoking section
