I am not a big fan of paying somebody to let ME shop in THEIR store. I mean how retarded is that? But I have been here on occassion with free one day guest passes I have gotten from friends or in the mail. This place is huge and sells its products in the same manner - huge quantities. If you have room to store all the bulk products, great. If you don't, just skip this place. Plus, they have some really funky policies. For instance, they only take discover card as credit card payments. How weird is that. more

Why in the world would they only take discover card as a form of credit card payment ? As if they have not made enough money from their sales, they even want to make more money from the credit card. Honestly, I don't think you will be saving a lot of money if you do your groceries here, because you can get even better deal in local grocery chain if you wait for their sale. If you run a business that require you to buy thing in bulk regularly, then maybe this is a good place to do your shopping, but if you just shop for the house hold, you'd better save those $35 membership fee. more

I would not buy their membership 4/10/2006

I got their membership as a Christmas present, so I tried shopping there. The thing is, you have to buy in bulk here, which in my opinion not necessarily cheaper comparing to grocery store when they have things on special price. I hate the fact that they only accept cash, debit card and discover card. It really make me think that they force me to sign up with discover in order to be able to pay with credit card to shop at Sams. Oh, by the way, Costco has better stuff than they do !! more
