Our whole family won't go to anyone but DEANNE! She's a color specialist, too. Even our little ones love her. My hair is all white...Deanne's color and cut makes me look 15yrs younger - no kidding. I actually get asked by strangers, ""Who styles you hair?"" And, ""It's white?! But, it looks like your natural color."" She closely listens to what we want; rare quality. Her suggestions have been spot-on. Patient, GENTLE, and wonderfully cheery personality. Such a sweetheart! We just love her :-) more

I came into Salon Beleza because it was recommended from a friend. I was really wanting a facial, and i'm so glad i came here for it!\r \r Salon Beleza's esthetician, Jill, was friendly and professional. I had an instant liking to her and she made me feel completely relaxed. The skincare line she uses is called Comfortzone and was terrific! I've had plenty of facials to know what i like and dont like, and i appreciate when they take their time to make you feel stress free and thats exactly what Jill did. She has great skills and is a joy to go to. \r \r As a first time client i paid $65 for a facial and it was well worth my money.\r \r I reccomend her and the salon highly! I just moved up north from Santa Monica. And I have been searching for a great place to go. So, one day my friend recommended me to her stylist, Treo, who works at Salon Beleza. And voila! Today, I got my first haircut in Modesto...and the outcome was exactly what I wanted. I recommend everyone to go see Treo for a fabulous haircut and style. The other stylists are also very welcoming and make great conversations with you, so you're entertained. Haircut and style is 60 bucks. Which might be a lot for some of you. But hey, that 60 dollar haircut will last you for 3 months if you think about it. :) Pros: good atmosphere more

I was new in town and went to Salon Beleza based on the reviews that I read ~ BIG MISTAKE!\r My hair stylist, Kristen, while sweet was totally inept at hair color. After the first attempt at highlights/toning produced white streaks throughout my hair, I should have gotten up and left but instead allowed her another try at toning my hair to the correct color. The light is very poor in the salon and while I knew that the color would have to be redone AT ANOTHER MORE QUALIFIED SALON, I didn't realize until I got home that my hair was a light shade of PINK!!!! I had to have my hair redone the next day for an additional $250 to fix her mistakes. In addition, I had streaks of white going across my scalp where the bleach had leaked out of the foils. The owner, Mena, was commenting what a great blond shade my hair was so I can't even give her the benefit of the doubt. If it wasn't bad enough to pay money for pink hair and have to pay even more to fix it, I was in the salon over 4 HOURS. If you are smart, you will ignore all of the other paid for reviews and go to another salon with more qualified stylists. more

this place is the best! my fiancee bought me a valentine's package for me, and i got the works! everyone in the staff is very professional, with lots of great information. i had the best massage by laura. she used hot stones on me and and left me totally relaxed! you can tell they all know what they are doing, and enjoy doing it. i basically felt like i was treated like royalty. the girls were all very sweet and polite and even serve you lunch with the spa packages. the salon is connected to the double tree, where we stayed the night. there is a parking garage across the street, and they validate parking, which is nice. a very romantic weekend full of pampering....highly recommended!! I went in today to get my hair colored and cut and they Hooked it Up!! It looked so stylish and funky! I was so impressed with the color, shine and how healthy it looks! I just want to say a few comments...First of all You guys are the best, I came in there last year and I was treated so well by all of you, your staff was very polite and very well organized. Second I had the best Pedicure and maincure, my hairstyle was amazing and my make-up was glamorous. And last but not least Keep your heads up Ladies...If anyone is so pathetic enough to write ugly things about you guys is for one unhappy with themselves and also doesn't seem to have proper grammar! I went to Salon Beleza Day Spa and experienced a full day at the spa for my b-day! I had such a wonderful time there. They were so friendly and organized. I got my first hot stone massage, and wow, was that a Treat! I never felt that comfortable in a massage before, but that was so relaxing and the stones were so soothing for my achy muscles! Then I got an Anti-Aging Facial that gave me an instant clean, firm look which i was very impressed! I would love to have that done at least once a month! They finished with their signature manicure and pedicure which was really nice. To top in off, they even ordered lunch for me from the hotel next door to them, that was great! I went there to get my hair styled and makeup done for Valentine's Day. I had my makeup re-done three times and I was still not satisfied. There was so much make-up on my face, I looked like the gal from the Drew Carrey Show. I was also not satisfied with my hair at all. I was charged $125 which was a waste of money. I went home and completely re-did all of my makeup. Would not recommend to anybody. more

Actually Salon Beleza is now a Day Spa. This is great because i was able to stay at the Doubletree and enjoy a day of beauty right next door. The experience was great. The Staff were professional and very experienced. I couldn't believe they carry [comfotzone] skin care line which i have only seen at the Belagio in Vegas and in Beverly Hills. Jerry the massage therapist gave me an incredible hot stone massage and the stylists gave me a complete makeover. WOW! the special attention was great. I felt like a million bucks when i left. Mena and Amy the owners make sure that customer service come first. A must when your in the City!!! more

Edmond is a miracle worker!! He spent an hour and a half on my hair at my first appointment, just to get to know me and my hair well. I recommend him and the salon to anyone who asks. A month later, and I still love my hair!! Pros: Validate parking, Great staff, Large salon more
