Best sushi and service around! 4/10/2009

I can't imagine what happened to those other 2 low-raters on Valentine's Day ... Sai Sai is an EXCELLENT gem of a restaurant. I do lunch there at least once a week, and the food (sushi especially) and service are always wonderful. The sushi selection is great and always fresh, the ambiance very peaceful. Pros: everything more

Terrible service 3/6/2008

We went there for Valentine's day. It was a set menu and cost $90 per person. The host took us to our seats and left without saying a word. We were waiting for another couple to join us for dinner for at least 25 minutes. No one came to our table to greet us or even bring us some water. There are total 4 waiters and they weren't busy at all. Throughout the entire evening, our waitress didn't come to our table and ask how we are doing or if we like the food. At the end, my husband asked for the check and it didn't come until 20 minutes later. When it finally came, my husband said ""we have been waiting for the check at least 20 minutes"". She replied "" I see."" She did not apoligize or smile at all. We were all upset by the service the whole time. And on top of it, the 17% gratitute was automatic included with the total amount. I do not recommand this restaurant to anyone and we certainly will not go back again. Pros: Wonderful Band Cons: Terrible service more

So Nice 6/3/2004

I came here with a friend and we both left so satisfied. The service is excellent, the food is delicious. We were treated so nice. The Japanese dressed ladies make the place look so cool. Very clean and high end. One of the best sushi bar I have been to. Pros: food, service, facilities more

Pretty yum 10/15/2002

Sai Sai is in the Biltmore hotel, one of the most beautiful downtown hotels. Very deluxe. The interior of Sai Sai is spacious and light. I've had lunch here several times and the food is always good. They have nice side dishes with their lunch packages, including a wonderful eggplant-seaweed delicacy that was delicious and beautiful. The sushi is good and the sashimi is even better. The only downer: service at the tail end of lunch hour can be slow because it gets crowded, and there are not even waitresses. However, when you do get their attention, they are courteous and attentive. more
