At first, the 6 cent gas promotion offered to Safeway customers was actually a deal. Now that loyal customers are used to driving up to the pump at Safeway, the prices have sky-rocketed! I'm not talking about the everyday jumping of gas price, but only with Safeway.
For awhile I was getting gas about 5 cents cheaper at Safeway with their 6 cent promotional discount/gallon. About a month ago, I noticed that Safeway gas jumped to about .20 MORE a gallon than any other station including Shell and Cheveron. Yesterday I noticed that they were about .30/gallon higher than AM/PM. Not too sure about their prices - watch out
