For the baseball experience 12/9/2005

In my opinion, everybody should see a baseball game at least once, especially when the Mariners are hot. The seats are decent, if you are willing to dish out some money to get good ones, but then there are the bleacher seats which are very cheap. Of course, you are not restricted to your seat; you can walk around and check out the bullpen and the various stands they have around. The food is fairly expensive, as you would expect for stadium food, but the garlic fries are worth it. more

Great views, affordable tickets 10/9/2005

This stadium obviously doesn't have the history or charm of some of the other baseball venues in our country, like Fenway Park, but they did a good job when they built it to make it really comfortable and easy to navigate. The bathrooms are all over the place and very clean. The food and beer are also very easy to access. Tickets are pretty cheap compared to other stadiums (about $7 for bleacher seats!) and you can see the field really well from just about anywhere. The retractable roof is also fun to watch open and close. If it is a nice clear day, you can get amazing views of the mountains and water from the upper decks. Overall, going to games at Safeco is a very comfortable, fun, and thoroughly enjoyable experience. more

This a a fun place to spend the day. Safeco Field is a stadium with good seats, and it is easy to get in and out of the stadium. I will always remember the first time I visited the park. I arrived after the game had started, the moment I finished climbing the stairs to the first level, there was the game. The crowd, the noise, the bull pen and the game, right before my eyes. I could not believe that I could keep an eye on the game while looking for my seat, it was great! Sometimes I think that there are people that spend most of their time walking around and around the stadium while watching the game. While you are making a lap you can stop and watch the pitchers warming-up in the bull pen. Safeco Field is great. Spend the day at the ball game, regardless of where you will be sitting. Even the bleacher seats have good views of the game, and awesome views of Elliott Bay. more

The Safe 8/17/2005

by wanderlust23Every baseball fan needs to see the Mariners from their outdoor stadium - Safeco Field. One of the best stadiums in all of baseball, there's not a bad seat in the house! From the upper levels, you can see Mount Ranier and the seattle skyline. From the lower levels you feel you are part of the action. Safeco Field still boasts one of the only manually operated scoreboard left in moder stadiums. The bullpen is also an exciting place to watch pitchers warm up through the fence in the main level in left field. The Mariners made history in 2001 by becoming the winningest team in baseball! Tickets start at just $7 (outfield bleachers) and go up to $50 for infield seats. For tickets try Ticketmaster.
