My five-year-old loves it! 7/19/2011

Everything has gone well for us. My son loves his instructor, Brad, and is making great progress. It took awhile to read through and learn about how the registration works, but everyone I have worked with has been friendly and helpful. It took a bit to get a set time, but is worth it. I like being able to see available lessons on the website and being ablte to call and schedule a make-up or extra lesson. My son is learning new skills quickly, looks forward to his lessons, and is so much more comfortable in the water! more

Finally swimming! 11/30/2009

After numberous attempts at other seattle pools, finally learned about Safe n Sound. Personally i think that the other comments are those that don't read policy sheets or documents before they sign. I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with the office. They're approach and extra events encouraged my girls to get past their fears and learn how to swim! Pros: warm, inviting, caring staff Cons: paid parking before 4 more

Save your money 3/3/2009

I experienced nothing but frustration. My son had a different sub every week for the first 6 weeks and over the course of five months has not made much progress. Management is not very responsive or friendly. When I went to cancel lessons I was informed that the policy had changed and that I would be charged for a month of lessons even though this was not the policy I agreed to when I signed up more

Not worth the price 8/21/2008

We started with Safe & Sound Swimming on the recommendation of a friend. Initially we had a good experience, but it deteriorated. Teachers turn over frequently and there isn't much communication about our child from one lesson to the next. With only 15 minutes there isn't much time to get to each child, so many lessons were wasted. The disorganization from the office was also a problem for us. Pros: Good parking Cons: Too expensive for what you get in return more

Great Method 7/27/2005

Having the kids go one-on-one with an instructor is pure genius. My daughter (5) was doing more after three lessons than in her ten trips to the Green Lake pool with me. And the instrctors are a great bunch - young and enthusiastic. I highly reccomend Safe and Sound. more

Not worth the $ 9/26/2002

It sounds great - one on one lessons to teach your little one to swim - but the lessons only last for 15 minutes - not really long enough. Their reasoning is that this is the most a little kid can be focussed on a lesson, but I think it has to do more with the bottom line. My daughter really liked her teacher, but I don't think she made much more progress than she would have in a much less expensive public pool group lesson. Pros: One to One, Nice Teachers, Warm Pool Cons: Short lessons, Expensive, Disorganized more
