my friend and i both ordered the sushi and the salmon was frozen in the middle. it had too much wasabi too. so i asked the asian lady about it (i think she was the manager) and she just gave us an attitude. i am definitely not coming back. this place lacks customer service and quality. more

nice place to fish 8/15/2005

The bait and tackle is located at the end of the pier. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is well stocked with items. They will make suggestions on what to buy, for example, what type of bait is best to use. The place is pretty relaxing to fish and just hang out with friends. The fish we caught were not that big. more

Small Place, Dont Miss It 8/14/2005

If anyone decides to go fishing at the end of the pier, you need to stop by the Bait. Located on the opposite side of the Mexcian restaurant, they have all the amenities necessary to go catch some fish. I would advise that if you catch anything, think twice about eating it. CL more

THe santa monica peir is a wonderful place to take out of town guests and visitors. it is overlooking the Santa Monica beach and offers such a beautiful vista of the coastal area. There is a wonderful merry fo round or the kids there and it is reallly inexpensive. They also have a wide choice of archade games to play and all in all it's a fun inexpensive day out. more

Santa Monica Pier Bait & Tackle 7/23/2005

Santa Monica Pier has alot of room for fishing and it is very nice and peaceful at night. The fishing is at the end of the pier and on a bit lower deck so you have privacy but bring a friend and some people bring music and end up just sitting and talking and meeting new people. more
