I loved the personal touch of our server, Sharon. She was very accommodating. Only thing I would change are the chandeliers. more

I particularly enjoyed the fast service and ambiance of the restaurant. The parking area was a bit confusing. more

The hospitality and service was awesome. The food was the best I've had in a long time. I can't think of anything to improve - continue the good work/awesome food and service.\r \r more

I enjoyed the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. Food presentation was also great - as a frequent Ruths Chris diner, I can always taste a slight difference in taste each and every time I come in.\r more

Golden Corral meal for $190 10/25/2011

I've experienced other Ruth's Chris places and this one in Sandy Springs is rank.\r \r If you want a horde of untamed animals for children placed near you , by all means go there. Don't expect to have an audible conversation though.\r \r The NY STRIP definitely wasn't worth it. Must have been an inexperienced short order cook and a meat buyer saving money on buying utility grade meat.\r Save your money from this dump more

Overrated 4/12/2009

Had heard about Ruth's Chris since before moving to Atlanta- raves about how great it was, how the steaks were the best, etc. My girlfriend decided it would be a nice treat for us to check it out one night. We both left disappointed. Our server was slow. The meal was ridiculously overpriced for the portions served- as was the wine, the side dishes and other our other drinks. All in all, I'm glad I tried it, but I'd never go back. One star was the lowest rating I could give, which is a shame. Pros: Quiet. Cons: Overhyped, overpriced. more

Great old school meal 11/6/2007

This particular Ruth's Chris has a really old school vibe. The main dining area is warm and inviting. The food was the best I have had at any Ruth's Chris I have visited. The wedge salad and filet is always a safe bet. Pros: Great atmosphere and service more

A truly wonderful evening. 10/21/2006

My wife and I went here on Friday night, October 20, 2006.\r \r Reservations are easily made, and I had no problems calling to adjust the reservation to include my two and a half year old daughter and delay our time by 15 minutes.\r \r Parking was valet only.\r \r We wound up arriving a few minutes behind our original reservation, but 10 minutes early for the new reservation. We were shown straight to our table.\r \r From the start, my wife and I were floored. This was her FIRST time ever in a FINE restaurant, and only my second or third. We were NOT disappointed. My wife apologized to me for insisting on taking our daughter. She proved to live up to the expectations of the experience, and was an absolute perfect angel.\r \r Our waiter, Richard was absolutely top notch, and even made sure that our meal was good enough for our daughter. They bring out the steaks sizzling on a 500 degree plate, not friendly to even adult fingers, but they did bring out a cool plate for our daughter.\r \r If you're used to restaurants like Applebee's, Bugaboo Creek, Chili's, Friday's, Logan's, Outback, etc, you're going to be in for a shock when you open the menu. The main entrees start at $23 and go up. The porterhouse goes for $41, and the wine list averages about $11 or so per glass. Sides are a la carte and large enough for 2 or 3 people.\r \r Our food was perfect, dessert was delightful, service was outstanding as you'd expect in a fine restaurant, and our waiter was more than helpful.\r \r This is not exactly a place you want to take a kid to, but our daughter has received an invitation from our waiter and the staff to return.\r \r Our tab came to 99.83, and we left 25% for the tip.\r \r I highly recommend this restaurant if you want a 5 star experience and don't mind paying for it. We will return to Ruth's Chris again, and are going to be making arrangements to send my wife's parents there for their next anniversary. Pros: Service, atmosphere, food Cons: a bit pricey if you're not used to fine dining more

Excellent Choice for a Special Occasion 3/3/2006

Some friends and I ate at Ruth's on Roswell Road and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. From the moment we entered we felt pampered. The ambience and atmosphere spoke of elegance. Our server was quite knowledegable on the menu as well as the food preparation. She was very attentive. The food was outstanding. We had a relaxing delightful dinner, that was beyond a doubt first class or ""high cotton""to quote my grandmother. Pros: Atmosphere, Service, quality of food more

Avoid Ruth's Chris on crowded nights 12/15/2005

I wrote a letter to the general manager describing my (surprising) disappointment with my most recent experience at Ruths Chris. Here is an excerpt: Our reservations were for ten people at 8:30 pm. We were finally seated at our table at 9:10 pm, and we received our salads and soups at 10:20 pm, 110 minutes after our reservation time; incredibly, one person had not received her drink order (a Coca-Cola) until then. We received our dinners at 11:15, after one member of the party had to go two times to ask where the food was. Our waitress, G, was, well, terrible. She did not keep water glasses full; she disappeared for long periods of time; and we had to ask for more bread. She made no effort to accommodate us, given the delays in the kitchen. Not what I would have thought from a restaurant like this. more

Perfect steaks right off 285 11/26/2002

Another Ruth's Chris winner that is right off of 285. easy to get to and always worth it. The steaks are perfect every time. My last time I went to this location it was with one of my best clients. I knew I could not go wrong with a quality and straight forward menu. Steaks, steaks and more steaks and all of them good. The focus was on business and not what to order....we both knew whatever we got it would be amazing. The servers are courteous of your business conversations but don't leave you unattended. Pros: steaks, service more
