Only in Minnesota will you find this place. In the south they would laugh this place back to the north. Why? Because they have the sweetest sauce I've ever thried in my life. ...

We go here for two things... 4/9/2006

... (on birthday's, generally);: My wife loves the tenderloin medallions, and when in the right frame of mind, at the right time of year, I do like the ribs, as an occasional change of pace. Parking's a bit of a mess: they've got a lot with a limited amount of spaces across the street and several hundred feet down. But we've always been able to find a space on the street on the parallel streets. more

Great happy hour specials with a nice patio to enjoy them on. Its a little noisy when traffic is bad, check out thier website for their speicals. Food is good too but not too impressive for the prices. Its mostly worth yoru while during happy hour and much on the appt. more

Rudolph's BBQ - Mainstay 8/5/2005

Rudolph's BBQ is one of those restaurants that you just wonder how they have lasted this long. The bbq is average. The have recently remodeled the location but essential it's the same average food. I would not put it high on the list unless you were looking for a totally different experience. The bbq sauce is flat and you would think after all this time it would have gotten better and how anything off the shelf from the grocery would be better. If you have bbq in your name, you better have something that people remember in a good way. more

Great Food, great atmosphere 7/29/2005

The newly remodeled Rudolph's BBQ offers the same great food in a touched up atmosphere. The ribs are much better than that famous guy, but the BBQ sauce lacks a little zing. The prices are somewhat reasonable when considering the food is definitely top notch. Parking can be confusing as the lot is half a block down on Lyndale. more
