I visited Ruby Tuesday’s for lunch yesterday. I went with my good friend, and we had a pleasant visit. We both ordered the salad bar with a turkey sandwich. Our intentions were of course to eat salad until we exploded and take the sandwiches home. So for $8.99 we each got 4 meals out of it. I found the salad bar to be very nice. All of the items were fresh, and there were things that all salad bars should have. There were cranberries, bacon bits, blue cheese, ham bits, 2 kinds of olives, potato salad, and the usual lettuce and veggies. It doesn’t sound all that great on paper, but a hearty salad was shortly piled on my plate. My favorite topper there is the brown croutons—I think they are pumpernickel, but I could be wrong. Either way they tasted great.
The atmosphere was wild- this location is in the mall, and it is always hopping on the weekends. The servers were polite, and smiling, and having fun. My only pet peeve, is that they all had wrinkled work t-shirts. Now I don’t think I have ever been to a place where everyone had wrinkles, but here it was. Maybe it was the shirt, but it just made me feel they weren’t even trying to look professional. Other than that, we had great food, in ample quantities, and the service was good. I would suggest it!
