Ruby Tuesday is here to stay! 8/26/2006

We have had our new Ruby Tuesday Restaurant four over sixteen months. It is off the West Virginia Turnpike on exit ramp 42. It is easily accessible. This place has a huge parking lot which stays pretty full most of the times. A have a huge variety of hamburgers with specialty breads. They even offer Buffalo burgers, etc. The service is great. Everyone is very eager to serve you. One of their specialties is the large salad bar. This would be great for any vegetarian. Several types of salad including bean salad, spaghetti salad, Greek salad, potato salad, mararoni salad, many salad condiments like olives, beets, sprouts, fresh fruit, etc. They make their own fries with the skin on them and they are delicious. Why, they even have root beer served in a frosted mug. One of their famous desserts is an sundae that is place in a huge bowl and comes with five spoons. It has choclate syrup and nuts and cool whip on top. We could never eat the entire dessert, but we had a lot of fun trying. Their meals are not that expensive. Most of the sandwishes run around $12.95 up including what type of bread you are going to choice and how many toppings. I think that you will find this a very enjoyable place to dine out. more

Typical chain restaurant fare 4/16/2006

There is typically a wait at Ruby Tuesday's, as there is with most restaurants inside the MOA. I try to time it so I don't have to wait, but even if I do, I go because Ruby Tuesday's is predictable. Some of the restaurants in the mall can be pretty hit or miss, or are awfully gimmicky. Ruby's menu has changed quite a bit over time, and they now have something like 30 different kinds of burgers. I generally stick to the plain one, and it's inexpensive and good. They do tend to oversalt their fries, but I usually can't eat too many if I eat the whole burger. Service is usually pretty good, and they don't push you out the door, even if there is a wait. It's nice to be able to sit at the bar and eat, especially now that the whole place is nonsmoking. more
