I went under my sink to get a new trash bag and instead discovered about 2 inches of water! With my husband depoyed, it was totally up to me to figure out what to do. I called American Home Shield since we still are under our free coverage from buying our house. This was a Friday, and I was told that the earliest they could get anyone out to my house would be Monday. That meant a whole weekend of not being able to use my sink. I called Roto Rooter and within 45 minutes Steve was at my house. He discovered within a few minutes that our garbage disposal had given out and that was causing our leak. He gave me a quote and told me that he could do it right away. He also looked at my kitchen faucet that wasn't working and said that he could fix that as well. I thought I would need to buy a new one, but he was able to fix it! Plus, he looked at our bathtub faucet and determined what needed to be fixed there to stop it from leaking. Within 2 hours, Steve had a new garbage disposal in our kitchen along with a fixed faucet. Plus, he had installed a completely new faucet in our bathroom. I am so thankful that I called Roto Rooter instead of waiting for the plumber that would have been sent from AHS and probably would have told me that there wasn't anything that they could do to help me (that's what I normally get from their service providers). I probably paid a little more than if I had waited for the plumber sent by AHS, but the ability to use my sink without leakage, as well as getting all of my other problems fixed, was definitely more than worth it!
