Gas Pipes 8/18/2011

Good: Mike the service tech was excellent!. He explained everything he was doing, and kept me updated on any additional work that should be done.. Bad: I was thinking the price, but Mike spent the better part of the day replacing pipes. I don't think I could say if there was anything that I disliked.. Improvements: A more detailed bill with prices and labor defined.. Other: Mike is a great service tech and I hope he comes out when I changed my faucets and remove the filter in the basement and shower heads.. more

A Total Scam!!! 8/1/2011

The so-called plumbers from Roto-Rooter LIED to us and scammed us out of $800 for procedures that were completely unnecessary. Our problem was simply tree roots (we discovered this later from another plumber), yet Roto-Rooter claimed that we needed a new sewer line to the street and wanted to charge us over $3000 to install it! To make matters worse, they damaged the pipes in our basement! Consequently, we had to have another plumber come in to fix this new problem as well as the original problem (i.e., tree roots)! When we tried to discuss the situation with management, they were totally unresponsive. Save your money--look elsewhere for reputable plumbers!!! more
