Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Outstanding service today. I had an ""emergency appointment"" with another service. When they missed the 5 hour window I called and they basically blew me off. So I called roto-rooter Manassas VA and within 1 hour of my call a tech, Nick, was at my house. He was extremely professional and knowledgable. He walked me through what he thought was wrong, discussed my options and then went to work quickly once I made my informed decision. While working he used booties to keep my house clean and cleaned all the areas he'd worked in after fixing my issue. I highly recommend them and will use them in the future. more

I called at 7:45am and gave my basic info. Was called back less then 3 minutes later that someone was on the way from Manasass and would be at my home shortly.\r Darby arrived and was very professional, reviewed the situation and provided me with the cost and explained thoroughly what was necessary.\r The job took approximately an hour and a half.\r Situation resolved, everything cleaned up and operational. I called Roto Rooter to have them assist with a blocked line. They responded within thirty minutes. Jon was very professional and diagnosed and fixed the problem very quickly. He was exceptionally neat taking care to cover his shoes and our floors. It was a wet snowy day and when he finished there was not a trace that he had been there. I subsequently used the cleaning services. They came the same day to give an estimate on the work and did the clean up the following day. Again the technicians were polite and professional and completed the work quickly. more

What a pleasant experience overall. I came downstairs to see water flooding out of our floor drain, we called Roto-Rooter and they were at my house about 2.5 hours after I called. The plumber, Diego, was very professional/polite and knowledgeable. After a few quick tests he identified the problem was a clogged branch line, he offered two options to fix it. We went with the Hydro Jet which was a little more expensive, however I really liked that they checked the work with a snake camera so I could see exactly what was going on in the pipes. The plumber even checked the connection to the main drain line, to make sure that the problem hadn't just gotten pushed further down the line. He was patient and answered all of my questions. We printed off an internet coupon for $40 off, which was accepted with no problem! I would certainly recommend the company and specifically Diego! more

We had a blockage in our drain line that flooded our basement. We originaly contacted a plumber and was told he would be out the following day. When he showed up he was not prepared to take care of the blockage and said he would be back with the proper equipment a little later. Six hours later we were still waiting. When I contacted the plumber again he said he would be on the way soon. That's when we contacted Roto-Rooter. They had someone at our house in a half hour, a half hour after that our drain was open and we were able to use our bathrooms again. The gentleman that helped me and my family was informative, clean, and curtious. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers July 25, 2014\r I called Roto-Rooter to have a plumber come out and correct a very big mistake Paul Davis made on my kitchen pipeline and they responded all the way from Manassas fairly quickly. The best part of the experience was the plumber was able to describe the exact issue and educate me on why my pipes and garbage disposal was not functioning properly. more

After trying to replace my toilet fill valve and flapper on my own over the weekend, I gave in and called Roto-Rooter Sunday night. Jamaal came out on 5/19/2012 (monday), and arrived well within my service window. Jamaal was friendly, worked fast, and got the job done in no time at all (about 20 minutes). Unfortunately I was told that he had to bill me for an entire hour of service $229, and although pricy for a quick fix, I understood that I was paying to have the job done right. In the end, I was able to locate a $40 online coupon that Jamaal honored, making the service just a little more affordable. I would call Roto-Rooter again for the service alone. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 4/5/2014\r \r Excellent service on a HUGE job. Our sewer pipe backed up on a Friday evening and the technician was here early on Saturday to clear the clog and find a bellied pipe at 44 feet from the house with his camera. Michael is an extremely knowledgeable and very patient professional. His explanation and repair proposal was spot on with what other experts had told us to expect. After 2 second opinion proposals we decided to stick with Roto-Rooter and we are very glad we did. Devon arrived on schedule with one equipment operator and got the trench dug and the pipe replaced. The work was approved by the county and the trench was back-filled, graded and seeded - all in one day! Denzel from Roto Rooter installed a new bathtub faucet for us yesterday. His work was excellent and he was very polite and accommodating. He did arrive well past the stated timeframe due to being tied up on an earlier job, but the Roto Rooter office called several times to provide updates. Will use them again for our next plumbing matter. more

Our sump pump was acting up with all the rain and melting snow we've had. We called late Sunday and had someone here around 9:30 the next morning. We ended up replacing it altogether and he was here for less than an hour. Very happy with the service and would recommend them. more

Fantastic experience, Jamaal came quickly and easily cleared out my clogged kitchen sink pipes. Even helped re-assemble all the pipes I had removed to find the clog intially. I would certainly recommend Roto Rooter to anyone! more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers, 7 Mar 2014\r On Monday the 3rd of March in the height of the snow storm, my kitchen faucet pull out hose snapped at the quick-connect sraying water everywhere. after getting the water turned off and cleaned up I made my way out into the unplowed snow roads of Prince William County to Home Depot for a replacement part. After the slow adventure to get there I find out they do not carry the HansGrohe parts at all. So I buy a replacement faucet and make the trip back to my house. after 4 days of trying to figure out how to get the $^#*@ thing out I gave up and called Roto-Rooter at 4pm Fri the 7th of March. They were great and had a plumber at the house by 5:40pm. I got my estimate and after some internal debating ($$) I said go for it - I can't get it. To my amazement, it took the poor guy another hour and he said forget it - we have to cut it off!! :o) So, I helped him hold the darn thing and he sawed it in half and put the new one in, tested it and cleaned up and left just before my wife got home!! I told the plumber I hope he doesn't mind if I take credit for figuring it out :o) He said no problem. The wife was happy to get running water again in the kitchen and I thank you all for quick professional service. By the way I confessed and told my wife Roto-Rooter did it!! Thanks Bob more

Our kitchen sink was clogged and needed to be snaked. The Roto Rooter plumber (Denzel) dispatched to our house in Lake Ridge arrived in a timely manner ready to tackle the job. He was very efficient, courteous, and answered all my questions. He not only unclogged the drain but also noticed a few other problems with the dishwasher drain line and repaired that as well. We were very satisfied with the job he did and received a 6 month guarantee. more

My husband and I had just recently purchased a forclosed home in the area. Late Monday afternoon, I noticed under the hedges in the front yard (near the clean out line) a great deal of toilet paper and standing water in our yard. After calling my husband, we contacted Roto-Rooter. We had never used their service before and within a few minutes we were contacted by Mr. N. Miller. Once he arrived he quickly assessed the situation and informed us of our options. He unclogged the sewer line and answered all of our questions/concerns. Tree roots had grown into the sewer line, which caused the line to clog. He also inserted a video camera into our line, in order to make sure there wasn't any other obstruction withing the sewer line at no additional charge. He was extremely friendly, patient, and very thorough. more

Jon D from Roto-Rooter came to my in-laws home and did a terrific job! Their sewer line clogged on a Saturday and within the hour of calling he arrived clean, cut, and well mannered. He really knows his stuff and took the time to explain the situation at hand, the reason behind it, and how to proceed. The whole time he didn't mind me and my brother-in-law observing and answered all our questions. Turns out my wife had flushed too many of those ""flushable"" wipes...nevertheless Jon opened the line, scoped it out with a cool sewer camera, and tested it afterwards to ensure all was good before packing up. I really do commend Mr. Diaz for his work ethic, professionalism, and courteousness. I bet he's a real asset to his branch and even offered him a job at my company hahaha. more

I called on a Sunday, 20 Oct, for an emergency toilet clog after trying on my own all day, using plungers and augers. It did not seem to work. So I called Roto-Rooter and Denzel arrived within an hour. He estimated the cost without removing the toilet but tried his auger first. He got it done in a minute or two. I like to think I loosened the jar on this one...but he probably just knew what he was doing. He was kind, explained everything, was very professional and seemed respectful of my pitiful efforts also! Thanks Denzel. You definitely made my life easier. more

Plumbing emergency (damaged water pipe in a 112 year old house) on a Sunday. Several highly touted firms unresponsive to the acute problem. Roto-Rooter called and could not have been more responsive -- from the call screener in Baltimore to the service technician who works out of the Manassas office. Prompt response by the plumber technician who was very knowledgeable as to the best approach to the complex problem. Worked diligently for hours and identified other (unrelated) problems that were also brought up to snuff (leaking valves replaced, etc. -- work that was completed by the technician on Monday, his "day off"). The plumber technician was outstanding in every way: very calm, unusually pleasant, very knowledgeable re: plumbing matters. Our 50 Ft. snake didn't clear the blockage in our main drain. Yonathan, the plumber from Roto Rooter in Manassas, was able to clear it at 70 feet. Then he ran the camera and we found where the blockage was actually damage to the pipe from some recent digging done by a contractor for a government building.
