Less than 2 weeks after moving in to my new home my drains backed up into my shower and tubs. I called roto-rooter. Jeffery was a very friendly technician that solved my problem...

Worst

We had a serious plumbing problem. We felt that they did not want to get involved so they submitted an outrageous bid. Three times what we paid someone else reputable.

Our house had water backup problems in the house that we could not fix ourselves. We called Roto-Rooter in the morning and they came out just after lunch. The technician, Clyde Crump quickly assessed that we needed a clean out of the main pipes to the sewer. It was a big job but handled it professionally with the proper equipment. He explained the ways we could help prevent this from happening again. Nice to know they are there when we need them. more

I contacted Roto-Rooter Plumbers in Sugar Land, Texas to provide a repair estimate for the servicing of my dual water heater system that stopped generating hot water. The Roto-Rooter Serviceman indicated that two new water heater units were needed at an estimated $2,000, including installation. This was a lot of money and I inquired if there were any alternatives. He assured me there was not. Then, he proceeded to hand me an invoice for $123 which had no parts or labor itemized. I explained my dismay with him regarding paying $123 for an estimate that I was told would be free, especially since no work had been performed. I immediately contacted the Roto-Rooter Sugar Land office to file a complaint. The Service Mgr. said that he would send one of his Master Plumbers, Mike Suttles, out the next day to provide a second opinion. Long story short, Mike advised me that I did not need new units and the problem could be fixed for $500. Additionally, I was told that I should not have been charged for the first visit per policy. Also the original technician left hazardous plastic debris in my attic near the heaters when he departed. more

5 star rating! My husband and I were freaked out when we realized we had a hard block of cement blocking our drain in the brand-new shower we completed. We called roter-rooter and within 30 minutes, the plumber was at our door for a free estimate of the damage. We were relieved when he was actually able to break up the concrete and get our us our shower back the same day!! We would recommend roter-rooter to anyone!! 2 thumbs WAY up for Roto-Rooter Houston TX! more

Mike and Doug did a very nice job. It was not a complex plumbing issue, but they were very professional yet friendly. Mike was training Doug, and he gave me good tips for the future! Steve was an amazing plumber! This was my first time using Roto-Rooter in Houston and I will definitely use them again! In the past, I've almost always used John Moore. However on this particular day, the John Moore plumber was rude and slammed the door in my face. I called Roto-Rooter and I plumber was on his way to my house within the hour. His estimate even beat John Moore's price! The faucet was fixed quickly and professionally. I recommend Steve and Roto-Rooter to all homeowners! more

The holidays were all ready sad for me, I had lost my son and he really was the one who took care of the house. Roto-Rooter Plumbing 12/26/2011

Came a little early of scheduled time which was a good thing. Got right to the job and diagnosed the problem right off. I needed a new cartridge for my shower handle that turns the water on and off. It had been leaking and I was afraid my water bill was going to go up. I really didn't want to spend the money but Mike got me a discount off the price and even threw in a free new handle. Every little bit helps. Mike and his helper were polite fast and knowledgeable. Would highly reccommend. more

Roto Rooter Plumbers Dec. 17, 2011 The plumbers were here even earlier than expected, for which we were very grateful. We had been battling a bathroom area plumbing problem in our house. They were friendly and very knowledgeable. They took the time to find and fix our problem. They did the good job that other plumbers and failed to do previously for the same problem.
