My husband and I bought furniture in there. First off the salesman told us we could finalize our sale over the phone because we wanted to sleep on our decision. When we called in to finalize they said we could only do $500 to reserve it over the phone. Then we called back to pay in full and they said we couldn't do it over the phone, so I drove 30 mins to pay the rest. When I arrived to pay for the rest, which had to be done days before they would deliver the furniture, they told me the furniture wasn't all in and wouldn't be in until Nov. 6th to mid. Nov. So, we had a U-haul for the current weekend but not all the furniture was in, so we had to pay the delivery fee. They said they would call when it came in. We hadn't heard anything, so my husband called in. Oh! the furniture was in and the rude lady that answered the phone said she just hadn't had time to call us yet. So when we asked when it could be delivered and that the next available delivery time was next Tuesday and they won't call my husband that day and tell him approx what time they will be there so someone can be home to let them in. So one of us will have to take off work because they can't give us a few hrs heads up, even though we both work within 5 blocks of our loft. Needless to say, we were lied to from about everyone in the place about how we could pay, delivery times, phone calls. We are half tempted to cancel our order and take our business that somewhere else that appreciates spending money in this economy. We will never spend any more money there, and we will never recommend this place to anyone we know. Their prices are comparable to Slumberland and others and there you have great customer service and people that are willing to work with you. We so wish we would have gotten our furniture there.
