Rothbaum, Daniel, Md - Atlantic Ear Nose & Throat

Went for a follow up appointment. After waiting 20 minutes, dr. Rothbaum came in and vaguely examined me and failed to talk to me about my condition, It looked like he was in a rush and sort of dismissed me.Other than that the office energy could be cut with a knife. The front desk lady was nice to me. Dr. failed to explain and give me options. \r I felt very uncomfortable as to his manner, and atmosphere in that office. more

I had a very positive experience when my son needed a tonsilectomy. Dr. Rothbaum performed the surgery. My son had a complication a couple of days after the surgery and Dr. Rothbaum met him at the hospital and saw him immediately. He took good care of him and was very caring and compassionate. I highly recommend Dr. Rothbaum. Pros: Nice area and building is rather new. Parking is ample. Cons: I think the wait time is about average for any good doctor. more

I had a very bad experience. First, my appointment was at 9:30am and the office was completely full and took over an hour to be seen. When I did see the doctor for my problem of snoring he looked in my ears and told me I needed a procedure done that would cost $500.00 after being seen for a total of about 3 minutes tops. Then when I went to check out the doctor informed this would not be covered under my insurance and my total would be $151.00 but I could feel better because they would apply it to my $500 procedure. They did not tell me at the time of the appt which I was very specific about why I wanted to be seen and when I asked if they were going to file it and if they verified this with my insurance company they said no. I felt like I had been had and this was a scam to get more money from me. I will not refer them and certainly will not have positive things to say regarding my experience.
