I used to have a bad opinion of Rome Hospital. It is kind of the black sheep of the medical family in this area. But last year when I had my son he had a case of jaundice. As my pediatrician is affiliated w/ Rome Hospital I needed to go there daily for his bloodwork for over a week. The staff was always helpful and sympathetic to my situation. The facilities were always clean. When it came down to billing issues the staff in the billing office was always more than happy to help with anything (That is rare).
I was very ill last summer w/ the stomach flu. I went to Rome Hospital ER and was taken care of wonderfully. I cannot say enough. They took me in very quickly and treated me right away so that I was comfortable while they examined me. I would go there again if I had an Emergency like that.
