We live very close to Opry Mills and have looked forward to having more food choices in the neighborhood once again. We arrived by 5:30 on a Friday night and were told we had a 20 minute wait. It was shorter than that. That was the one really positive thing I can say about our evening. None of the staff seemed happy to be there. Every once in a while our waiter seemed to make an effort to be friendly, but overall he was a dud. Three of our four meals came out together, but one was missing. He finally came by the table and said, ""Oh, let me check on that."" He then went to a computer and spent several minutes there before wandering off and coming back at least 5 minutes or more later to say that he didn't know what happened to it but the kitchen had to remake it. No real apology. No offer of a discount or free dessert. No manager ever came by to see how things were.\r
Felt that the prices were reasonable and overall the food was good, but the service was lousy! Had to continually ask for water, straws, ice, lemon, etc. Felt like because we didn't order wine or other ""extras"" we were not given much attention. He was lucky to get a tip at all, since ""gratuity"" means being thankful for service given and there wasn't a lot to be thankful for. A smile, pleasantries, and concern go a long way to overcome other issues. Johnny needs to learn that...
