My appointment with Dawn Franwick was the worst OB-GYN experience I have ever had. As a new patient I went in with severe pelvic pain, inflamed tissue and excessive discharge. She was very short with me and said it was likely an STD. When I explained I had been with a monogamous partner for a year, she said the most reasonable explanation was that he had cheated and contracted gonorrhea or chlamydia. Despite my protests, I left the office empty-handed and was back to square one when both tests came back negative. more

My appointment with Dawn Franwick was the worst OB-GYN experience I have ever had. As a new patient I went in with severe pelvic pain, inflamed tissue and excessive discharge. She was very short with me and said it was likely an STD. When I explained I had been with a monogamous partner for a year, she said the most reasonable explanation was that he had cheated and contracted gonorrhea or chlamydia. Despite my protests, I left the office empty-handed and was back to square one when both tests came back negative. \r \r A month later I saw a naturopath who did an in-depth physical examination. She found abnormal amounts of discharge and that my pH was high, contributing to overgrowth of yeast and bad bacteria, so she prescribed a tea-tree suppository and anti-fungal which restored things within 48 hours. If only I hadn't wasted my time at Meridian! more

Dr Salerno delivered my first son 4 years ago and i loved her. All the doctors I have delt with at meridian womens health has been amazing. Dr salerno was very supportive during my miscarriage and when i got pregnant again they found a lump in my breast and at the same time I was being tested for fragile x ( leading cause of mental retardation) and to top it off my pregnancy was high risk in the beginning.She was always supportive during the most stressfui time in my life. I thought she was great and will Always refer them to anyone I know. more

Caring group of women's healthcare providers 8/4/2009

I love the Meridian Women's Health Clinic. Dr. Salerno was my OB throughout my pregnancy. Her nurse and staff are wonderful and caring. They always greeted me by name and after only a few visits, I felt like they truly got to know me. Which is unlike my pediatrician's office where they still don't know me despite the all the visits. The level of care here is very high and personable. I cannot say enough great things about my experience here. After the birth of my daughter, I was sad to leave to go back to my general practitioner, however, if I do get pregnant again, I will certainly return here. I've also met with Dr. Vu and she is also very good. Pros: Thoughtful, caring staff and doctors more

I have never been able to say...""I love my doctor"" before now. I was reccomended to Meridian Women's Health from a NW Hospital delivery nurse. It was the best advice I coud have received. Since I have been seeing Dr. Salerno I have received personal, caring, and compassionate treatment. She has gone out of her way to give me the best care possible, including many personal phone calls to check up on me. Finding the person that will see you through the birth of your child is a very important choice. I am so happy to have found them. Pros: genuine caring, personal attention more

I saw Dr. Vu and she was fantastic. She was thorough and was easy to talk to about my concerns. The waiting-room time was a bit long but understandable since the patient prior to me passed out in the exam room more
