Never again. Sat at the bar left of reception deck.( hang out for all the people wearing these GROUPO Shirts)1st mistake. Waited 8 min for a bartender to ask what I wanted then 5 min to get it(michalada). Ordered food(guacho platter)2nd mistake Horrible would be an understatement. Started drinking bottle beer thinking it would be quicker they had to go to some cirqus room to get it??? After my 3 drinks and boxed up dog food I was glad to leave. more

Had a pitcher of "cadillac margaritas" for $30, had zero alcohol, all sour mix, all I got was heartburn.\r \r Guacamole was OK but not Hass avacados, some other kind, not what I was used too but barely acceptable.\r \r Total bill was $54.00 with tip and I will NEVER EVER go there again.\r \r Please Just buy some Patron, limes, and grand marnier, go home and have some real fun, don't let this place rip you off like I did. more

We do not understand the low rating at this place! People have ing fun, eating great food, and service was very attentive.... everything we had from the queso to the straight up rita was great. The table-side guacamole was like icing on the cake! more

We love the pomegranate margaritas and table side guacamole. Tacos are great, too. The ingredients are always fresh. more

Went there at 11pm on Thursday for some late night chow and a few drinks. The place was empty except for maybe 10 people, but that did not stop the middle aged "DJ" (ipod, press play, sit there) from blasting ridiculously loud, terrible music. My friend and I could not believe how terrible the music was, I mean, it was BAD! The food was ok, the service was fine, atmosphere was good, but ruined by the music that was so loud as to prohibit normal conversation. I'm not an old guy or anything, I'm a 29 year old man, so don't think I'm being a crumudgen. I will not be going back if that "DJ" is playing. more

The newly opened Rocco's Taco's along PGA Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens, the follow-up to its Palm Beach namesake, serves as yet another example of 'the expansion beyond capability' that seems to be going on with many locally branded eateries. Sure, the name is catchy and the decor certainly meets expectations, but that's where the 'acceptable' ends and the real experience begins...\r \r The parking situation is ridiculous, only to be made worse by a set of valet characters that make you want to scan your backseat for valuables before handing over your keys. As you hesitantly surrender possession of your wheels, you approach the front, er, side, uh some part of this restaurant looking for anything that resembles a front door, hostess stand, or frankly any human that appears interested in your plight to obtain a meal. To locate a hostess one must wander through an outdoor seating area filled with unsuspecting patrons, past the shark bar (yes, that kind) and straight through the back door. Much like everything else at Rocco's ---just a little backwards. I finally found what resembled a line and ultimately was given the "opportunity to negotiate" for one of the many empty tables in this exceptionally loud space. \r \r The staff is somewhat of an eclectic bunch, each dishing out to their customers their own unique version of what they think Roccos Tacos is supposed to be. Let me know if you ever figure it out. This team is anything but, virtually ignoring everything and everyone outside of their own bubble, and quite a bit inside their bubble too. Teamwork should be table stakes from a staff serving up $18.00 Metro Mex. Right? I mean, I'm all for confidence in a server, but I think attentiveness, engagement and competence are far more important traits to diners that roll in this price category. I'm just saying. \r \r Normal communication with the staff would also be highly valued by this consumer of overhyped Metro Mex. The best example of "human connection" that was demonstrated by our server was an inappropriate and slightly creepy "table lean over" as he introduced us to his version of Rocco's Tacos. Back off Buster. I wasnt looking to smell your breath. \r \r The salsa was extra! Yep, you heard me right, investing in the chips and the tableside guacamole was not adequete to recieve a complimentary dish of the official food of Mexico. This is a Mexican restaurant, right? Geez. Worst part, the salsa was little more than chopped tomatoes in water. Hey Rocco, this one needs attention. \r \r By the way, it was the much hyped table-side guacamole service that brought us to Rocco's to begin with and ultimately the enabler for all of these observations. We did in fact order this Rocco's fav, but it showed up from an unknown hemisphere because the cart apparently wouldn't fit where we were seated. So much for table side. I cant tell you how it tasted because it was served after our dinner had arrived and our chip basket had been emptied. You get the picture.\r \r My wife and I did order a tequila shot straight away. This should come as no surprise to you by now. It lasted on the table for all of about 60 seconds. Do you think our waiter, let's call him Copernicus, would ever offer us another shot. I mean c'mon Cappy, we were looking for a party. After I later saw how outrageously priced those two watered down Patron shots were, I just figured he'd been told no for a second date so many times, he just gave up asking. \r \r So, if you are looking for a place in Palm Beach Gardens to take your crew for a stress free evening of reasonably priced Mexican food, I would highly recommend Taco Bell. No, they don't have table side guacamole service or Tequila, but at least you can find the front door. more

we had a birthday party with about 10 people and the food and service was not good. they wanted to turn the table quickly and the food was not at all what we expected. fajitas\r in a soup bowl and mushy, chips tastless. also, valet was rude and we were charged and a comment was made about the tip we gave.\r disappointing at best, try somewhere else. more
