Can't believe it! My wife set an appointment for someone to look at repairing our oven, Robinson, the owner came three hours after the time scheduled (he did call, but after the allotted time) The control panel for the oven is broken! WE KNEW THAT!!! He said he had to diagnose the problem... he pressed the ""buttons"" and DUH!!! They didn't work!!! DUH!!!!! The control panel needs to be changed! DUH!!!!!!!! He charged $154.00 to come out to press the buttons cause he didn't believe that someone telling him over the phone that they don't work! Then he writes an estimate for the repair $1051.45 for parts and another $130.00 for labor!!! I called the maker's customer service and for retail I could purchase the said parts for $420.39 total!!!!!! Don't bother calling this guy... also I am unemployed, not that I want pity but why would a person who is making a great living take advantage of others!?!
I asked him if there was anything we could do about the $154... like put it toward the repair... Nope! Remember this is the owner!!! He could do anything he wanted to!
