Highest rates & never missed a pick-up 10/16/2011

I live outside of Atlanta Ga and have been w/ this company for over 10 years. I have never had a complaint about the pick-up service, but did notice that their rates were going up & up & up! I finally decided to check out another provider and found their rates to be 1/3 of what Robertson charges. I spoke w/ customer service and they agreed to match the competitor's rate. So I guess they're realizing that their prices are high, but they won't change them unless you ask. more

The worst garbage service!!! 8/6/2009

WE have been using them for years and they were ok. In the past year, I do not know what has happened, but they ""miss"" pick up once out of every 6 weeks or so. Now they have not picked up my trash 2 weeks in a row and their phone is always busy. My wife has emailed and called other divisions only to be told they would handle this and nothing. What a joke, and they are more expensive than the other companies in our area. Robertson, you keep my 2 months I have prepaid you, I have had enough!!! Cons: Its just a simple service more

Charging $2.00 to talk to someone in customer NO service dep 8/5/2009

After two straight weeks of not picking up my recycle items, I tried to call Robertson to let them know. After several attempts over two days, I could not get through. I only got a recording that said lines were busy and for $2.00, I could continue to hold. THIS IS ABSURD! What kind of company executive could make this idiotic decision? It was bad enough to receive bad service, but charge me $2.00 to report it. I DON'T THINK SO! I have canceled my account. They have missed picking up my trash more times that I can count. I'm done with them and will go with a new service. They have no problem taking your money, but forget the service.....its an afterthought. The excuse they give you is that they were having problems on the route. Yeah, if I had a problem paying, they would be prompt and on time to cut me off, but they take my money and give me nothing. Doesn't work that way. DONT USE THEM! Cons: Don't count on regular trash pickup more

Do Not Use This Business 5/18/2009

1) Robertson Sanitation charges a $25 account set up fee for residential service. Other waste companies do not charge this set up fee. 2) Robertson Sanitation missed two of the first four weeks of pick up service. 3) Robertson Sanitation took over a week to cancel my service. I was told the ""computer system is down"" for a week. 4) After closing your account, Robertson Sanitation requires you to leave their trash can out on the curb for up to three weeks so they can mosey round and pick it up sometime. Cons: poor service; acct set-up fee; no pick up, etc. more


I've been a customer of Robertson's for the past 8 years. I am finally canceling my service with them today. Problems included: not picking up trash, not picking up recycle, picking up one but not the other. Each time this happens I call in (they say they?ll make a note) and the next week -same issue. I call back up -they have no notes of the last call. This has happened OVER AND OVER again over the course of the last 8 years. The last straw was last month - my recycle bin was stolen and I called them to get it replaced. Again they gave me the (it's been noted line) and of course, 2 weeks later and still no recycle bin. This company floors me with their complete lack of attention to their customers. You?ve been warned. more

Looking for new service 10/14/2008

DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!. We have had service to 6 weeks and they have failed to pick-up our trash 3 times when scheduled. They even failed to pick-up the trash on the missed service call. Customer service will feed you lines that they are still in the area and that they have until 7PM to pick-up your trash and when 7PM rolls around and you trash is still on the curb, customer service is closed.
